Clear Lake Eye Center is pleased to offer a wide range of optometric services, eye care products including eyeglasses, specialty eyewear, frames, and contact lenses. Floaters are transparent gray specks that some people may see in their line of sight. While they appear to be spots floating in front of us, they are in fact inside of the eyes. As one age, the gel-liked structure called the vitreous can begin to liquify over time. These spots usually occur when undissolved pieces of the vitreous start to float around in a liquified vitreous, casting a shadow on the retina as light passes through the eye.

Clear Lake Eye Center is a wonderful place to receive eye/vision care. The staff are very professional, kind and friendly, and very helpful. I can't say enough about Dr. Brending. She is wonderful with a beautiful, calming voice, kind and gentle spirit, and is very patient when answering all my questions. I never feel rushed. I truly have enjoyed every visit in that office! It is a pleasure to work with everyone from the receptionists/schedulers, Mary Lou, Michael and Cindy. That you for taking care of me for the last 15 years!

Absolutely phenomenal staff and employees at Clear Lake Eye Center! The staff is super nice and friendly, and on more than one occasion they have exceeded my expectations to meet my needs. When I needed an emergency pair of contact lenses they got on it and went beyond my hopes to make sure I got them within 48 hours, just in time for my sons wedding. This is probably not their normal time frame to get products delivered , but this is testimony of their commitment to meet their customers needs.

Where do I begin, I have been a patient of Dr Brending for a few years now and I am so thankful to have been referred to her. Although I live 45 minutes away, I gladly make the trip for such exceptional service. I have seen many eye specialists in my 50 plus years, and pray I never have to seek help anywhere else. The entire office staff are well educated and display professionalism while showing they care. In my many calls to the office, the receptionists have shown to be attentive and ready to see my needs taken care of. Never once have I felt they were too busy for me, even though I know this

Dr Brending was amazing and caring during a recent cornea abrasion. She even came in her office for a special followup to see if I was healing properly. Her staff got me in quickly between appointments. The staff was caring and professional. Clear Lake Eye Center is our new eye center for contacts, glasses and all eye care.

This place deserves more than 5 stars. My experience was very pleasant. The staff is very professional, very respectful and always with a smile on their faces. I’m glad I chose this place to take my mother. The technician, Alma was very helpful and very professional with my mother. Doctor Jackie, took her time to explain everything with detail. I highly recommend this place.

I had my first eye exam here last week with Dr. Hernandez, and all the staff at this facility were friendly. They got me in a couple days after I called to schedule an appointment, the checkin process was easy, and the exam was thorough. My prescription barely changed so I didn't end up ordering new glasses but they helped me look at about a dozen pairs and were helpful in showing me glasses similar to designs I liked.

Staff: The doctor was extremely knowledgeable and thorough during my exam, asking me lots of questions and explaining the cause of some of my symptoms. She was professional,but also opened up to me when I asked her a personal question. It was nice to feel like my doctor was a real personThat I could trust and connect with. I believe

This morning I visited Clear Lake Eye Center. I appreciated all of their work in providing customer service; particularly an employee by the name of Mikel. He was honestly brilliant at providing optical support and finding the perfect glasses for me. I would recommend him up and down to anyone that was interested in male optics.

Everyone here is so sweet and friendly! I went in on a Monday for a regular check up and I told them I wanted to try contacts because I had a wedding this weekend. They were super awesome and was able to get me in the next day for a training! They were super accommodating and made getting contacts super smooth! Both doctors there are phenomenal and my tech Karen? Was super helpful! I recommend this place to anyone who needs a new eye doctor!

My two children and I had our yearly eye exams at this facility a year ago. The Optometrist recommended that my children wear glasses based on their test results. I was also told that I needed progressive lens glasses.
During our visit with the eye glass person, she told me all of the features of the glasses that I would require. I was informed that the glasses would cost $500. When I said that I did not have that much money, she suggested that I use a credit card.
Finally, after spending over $200 for my children's prescription glasses, I did some research regarding their vision

Decided to see Dr. Brending the first time 2 weeks ago after reading awesome reviews in Yelp. Dr. Brending took her time thoroughly examine & clearly explain what she was doing the entire time (actually the most time I ever spent on eye examination). The staffs there were all friendly & wonderful. The glasses selection was a little bit limited (though there ARE lots of them to choose from, I'm just a bit pickier than others). If you have an insurance, here is the cool part- if lens & frame you choose are over the insurance payout, you will get 20% off the difference. So out
