Beth is a lifelong resident of the Westchester area and has been involved in the floral business since her teenage years. Her family has owned and operated Whispering Pines Florist and Garden Center in Somers since her father John Kuck founded the business in 1956.
She obtained her undergraduate degree in Horticulture and Greenhouse Management from Colorado State University in 1981, shortly thereafter; she worked for Plant Specials in NYC and was responsible for interior plant designs for several NYC hotels.In 1985, she returned to her family's florist and nursery business in Somers where she worked until 2004 and remains an owner today.

We got our wedding flowers from Whispering Pines for both our small COVID wedding ceremony day, as well as our larger wedding celebration day and we absolutely loved them! Beth was great to work with and was able to craft perfect arrangements based on just a few inspiration photos, as well as work within our budget. Beth and her team were friendly and helpful, and the flowers arrived with plenty of time for set up. Highly recommend Whispering Pines! Thank you, Beth!

I just wanted to share how wonderful Beth is. I had a wedding emergency the day before my son's wedding. The boutonnieres I had ordered from another florist and lanterns where not what we had discussed. She gave me 14 boutonnieres and fixed my lanterns to wedding perfection. My family and I can't thank her enough for her professionalism and kindness in a very stressful situation. She was amazing!!

Whispering Pines was our florist for the wedding of my son and daughter in law on July 4, 2015. The flower arrangements at the church and the reception were simply magnificent. The bride worked with Beth, the owner, who was both a creative artist and the ultimate professional every step of the way. Our families HIGHLY recommend Whispering Pines.
