I went for mental health. I had problems with my assigned therapist for multiple reasons and asked to switch but that never happened. On my last day I emailed the owner about my experience with him and got no response. Some of the staff I did like they were kind and helpful and made it more enjoyable, but few. I enjoyed the other patients I met there. I asked to talk to the eating disorder consultant the first day and was adamant about it and didn't get a call with him until the last couple days I was there. In my experience, the therapist Jacob gaslit me and I did not feel comfortable talking

The facilities, the food, the accommodations, the setting, but most importunately the Staff make this place so special and aided in my treatment.
The process of total wellbeing (meeting/working with a dietician, working with a health coach/trainer, focused and attentive therapist) contributed to my process of becoming a better me.

I can't say enough good things about Driftwood. It is an incredible place that absolutely changed my life. It's beautiful, peaceful, and the staff is amazing. Every single person who works at driftwood is fully committed to the clients and the healing process we are all going through. They treated me with respect, kindness, and compassion. I found my sober family through driftwood and the community I have now is the reason I am still sober. I feel like myself again for the first time in a long time and my outlook on life has completely changed. I would recommend Driftwood to anyone who is struggling

Driftwood is a godsend. They have provided me with a foundation for a new lease on life. I will never forget my driftwood family and the privilege of being apart of their community. The food is five star, the people are brilliant and caring, and the experiential learning opportunities are boundless. Campus is breathtaking; you can be outside all day! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me a proper start at a genuine life. I may have to justify an excuse to return for a tune up! Xoxoxo

I sincerely believe in the power this place can have in someone's life. One of my very close friends became the man he's meant to be thanks to Driftwood Recovery. They offer a tailored approach that truly works. They understand mental health and substance abuse in a way that many treatment facilities do not. They make sure they do whatever it takes, in as much time as it takes, both inpatient and beyond. They have an amazing staff that perfectly balances warmth and encouragement with structure and challenge. It's hard to explain and even harder to achieve, but this place really has it figured out

Our family’s experience with Driftwood has been exemplary. Their staff is excellent and knowledgeable, and they provide compassionate care that makes you feel welcomed and supported in a way that is rare with any kind of healthcare facility, let alone a rehab center. They also have superb aftercare resources that continue that same conscientious approach to recovery, which is something that is absolutely crucial. We have a lot of gratitude and appreciation for everyone there!

Driftwood Recovery is a wonderful place to get treatment for substance use disorders and other underlying mental illnesses like depression and anxiety. It is a beautiful facility with highly trained professionals. The care is very individualized and you get compassion from every person that works there. Addiction is a serious illness which sometimes brings extreme shame and fear but when you drive through the gates of Driftwood, you will immediately feel loved and supported. Treatment includes group therapy as well as individual therapy to help lead you to recovery. You gain tools not only for

Coming to Driftwood wasn't initially what I wanted to do. I was coming from a primary inpatient facility and choose Driftwood as my aftercare (mainly their Riverside / Community Reintegration Program). But I'm glad I did! Not only was I able to do a deeper dive in a therapy setting on the core issues I had at the root of my disease, but I was also able to come to fully embrace what "fellowship" meant. Driftwood's facilities and staff made it open and welcoming to be "me". Riverside and it's unique approach to living life "anew" was well worth the time I spent.

I came to Driftwood about four years ago. When I say “came to Driftwood”, I mean that I was shepherded there by many life circumstances and the wishes of concerned relatives. As is often the case with people coming to treatment. There are many reviews posted here which speak to the quality of care, amenities offered and the beauty of the surrounding area. These are all true, and it’s all nice, the staff are ingratiating and care deeply for the clients. There are many treatment centers that can offer this kind of environment, of which driftwood is one of the best.

Driftwood's program was one of the best experiences of my life. The entire staff is so caring and helpful, from the care coordinators to the therapists to the founders. The chefs are also great people, and every meal I had there was incredible.
Driftwood takes a well-rounded approach to helping people suffering from addiction. I learned skills that are continuing to help me in everyday life. For anyone struggling with substance abuse and any underlying conditions, I can't recommend Driftwood enough.
The best advice that was given to me when I went in was to approach everything with an open mind

Honest and sincere review here with no agenda. Until the age of 50, life had been great in all aspects. I was a divorced mother of two teenage daughters. Their father and I managed the divorce as healthy as we could. I remarried at 52, divorced two years later and became an empty nester. While I cannot be sure, the trauma of the second marriage coupled with empty nest seemed to do a number on me. I fell into addiction. I became a shell. I lost myself. My drug addiction was obvious to all. I was embarrassed and ashamed. I entered treatment in 09/17 and have been sober since then.

My Experience with Driftwood was amazing I was guided through the whole process and helped along the way at a solid pace that was good for me. The amenities and food are top notch. I firmly believe any individual will get out of this place what they put into it. If you need the extra help as I did this is the place to get it. I came straight out of detox with severe withdrawals and was scared. Throughout the whole process I was helped in every area in which I was struggling. Once completing my time at Driftwood I was put into a situation where I needed to find a sober living. I was very uncomfortable

One of the best facilities in the country for substance abuse treatment. They have the ability to treat complex cases including psychiatric and pain management issues. Staff is honest and trustworthy and the facility is hands down the nicest in Texas.

My brother went to Driftwood Recovery for 30 days in October for PTSD and pain stabilization. We were quoted $47,500 by Paul, the Admissions Director, less $15,000 for insurance or $32,500 for 35 days. In addition, our counselor (who recommended Driftwood) let us know that they had agreed to an additional $2,000 for insurance. These prices were quoted PRIOR to treatment. Just before my brother entered Driftwood a contract was sent for $40,000 not $30,500. As time was short, we paid the $40,000 expecting to be reimbursed to the proper amount. Not so!! Paul and the CEO Peter both refused reimbursement
