We are still family owned, being our 79th year in funeral service operated by Frank Bukauskas-Leonard and son, Jason Bukauskas-Leonard. Services
The Staff of Hills Funeral Home is managed by father and son Frank and Jason Leonard. Both are lifelong experienced professionals who have dedicated their lives to funeral service. The Leonards are licensed embalmers and funeral directors. They possess a wealth of knowledge relating to funeral service that provides families they serve with expertise and care.
The facilities at Hills Funeral Home are modern, spacious, and present a relaxing atmosphere. You will be comfortable in our beautiful chapels that are designed to accommodate even a large gathering. Our lobby offers additional area for family and friends to gather during services. A cozy lounge also provides a great place for you have refreshments.
Includes: Professional services of funeral director & staff; removal of decedent (local); sheltering of the remains; cremation service (cremation permit fee not included).

When a death occurs in a hospital or nursing home, the medical staff should be informed that Hills Funeral Home will be the funeral home handling arrangements, so that they can have you sign any necessary release paperwork; then call Hills Funeral Home at (708) 598-5880 to notify us of the hospital or nursing home death.

- we recently lost my son unetxpectky. No one is really prepared for that and you have to rely on people you don’t know. I can’t say enough about Jason over at the Hills funeral home. It’s a family owned business, and you are treated like family which is very nice during tough times. But that’s not the most important thing, the most important thing is the professionalism Jason displays. He anticipates your very next question and executes with the highest efficiency. Strongly recommend it.

Bless you, Jason, for taking so much time and care to make sure that my nephew, Bobby, was laid to rest with dignity. He has finally found the peace he didn't have in this life. Jason Leonard and his staff treated us like family. My family was drained by my late brother's long hospital stay during which he suffered greatly; we really needed a funeral director who would be our angel--sparing us further confusion, heart-ache, and worry. My brother had to be transported from Florida to Chicago, and Mr. Leonard coordinated with the Florida director perfectly. My brother was given such loving care by Mr. Leonard and our grief was tempered when we saw how beautiful he looked resting peacefully. All of our needs were met at the funeral home and Mr. Jason and his staff stayed
