David Mosrie is the epitome of a bad real estate agent; unprofessional and brazenly dishonest.
A few months ago, my wife and I were interested in a property David was representing. In the beginning he seemed eager to work with us and answer our questions about the property. Dave is the best realtor I have worked with. His knowledge of both the residential and commercial Real Estate markets is truly impressive. This guy studies the trends, the numbers and has been around several different markets and market cycles. This first part is my fault; I was on trulia and clicked a button to see what my home value was, according to the website. (Property taxes are coming again, and I was curious what the market was saying.)
Within a matter of seconds, I was not getting an estimate, but a smattering of emails from this guy (which I never directly authorized trulia to give my contact info to.)
I asked him a couple of times, politely, to remove me from his contact list, and received the following reply:
"then stop pushing the buttons that initiate the response in Zillow ma-am. its an easy solution. just stop

David helped my husband and I find our new rental home in Austin with ease. Moving from California with only 3 weeks in time to find somewhere to live was not only stressful, but overwhelming. We gave him a list of necessities in a rental and when we came to visit for one day, we found our house within an hour. Not only was he extremely easy to communicate with, he truly recommended the best house. By the end of the day we had signed our lease and met our new landlord. I am a real estate investor in the Bay Area and was looking to do a 1031 exchange in Austin, because I felt that it was a good area to invest in. I knew it would be difficult to find a good agent, because most of them focus on home buyers seeking a principal residence as opposed to investment property. An agent who can help find investment property needs to know not only what home buyers want, but also what is important to investors, including rental income return on investment, neighborhoods on the rise, future development potential, etc.
