Lori and her team at Burne Engineering are the BEST!!! I was in a pickle, where time was of the essence..... my engineer of record would not answer my calls or get back to me, so I called Lori Burne at Burne Engineering to assist me with a detail change on my foundation plan. Lori and her team were already extremely busy with other client projects, but "stepped up to the plate and delivered for me in a major way". They stayed late and went above and beyond to review my structural calculations and existing plan to help find a solution for my foundation issue. With their help I was able to change

Lori is the best! We hired a different engineer with a ton of experience...on paper, and he completely bombed on our plans. Simple, single story residence. After paying him half of his original bid, we felt like we were stuck with him. We ended up calling several other engineers to see if they could help but nobody was willing to take us on halfway through the process...except for Lori. She not only took on the project without hesitation but she also bumped us up on her busy calendar and our new plans sailed through the permit process. Can't recommend enough. She was always easy to communicate

We heard about Burne engineering through our county building department. We were "those" guys that stupidly bought our plans online. We hired Lori Burne to engineer them. After 3 months of massaging that plan, the engineering and process had become a complete disaster. Lori suggested we start from scratch and after weeks of frustration, we agreed this was the best decision too. She knew we had already spent thousands and her team had worked on this plan for countless hours. It was disappointing to say the least. Her charges to begin with were more than fair and her services were
