I'm traveling through and my car stalled. They replaced a piece and everything was dandy. A couple miles away the check engine light came back on, it was verified by another mechanic it was fine and just a glitch in the system. A good place for sure. The car is working good, even after my 17 hour drive home. This is the place to go to.

First off I'm not from Austin and l was up here when my truck broke down. The thermostat on my truck just went hot. I had to rent a room for the night and looked up places to fix my truck. This location popped up with good rating and reviews. I guess most people don't know much about fixing cars but just need to get their car fixed. Which is why I'm gonna leave it 2 stars. I should of follow the repair me website instead and went to a certified place. I barely made it to this place because my truck was running hot and could of destroyed my engine. Being said l just wanted to fix

These guys are great. Listened to my tale of woe, offered hypothesis and stated clearly what tests they needed to run. Told me they would call in 3-4 hours with an estimate and did so. When they called with the estimate, told me they would have it ready by the end of the day, and they did. They even hung out a bit after closing time to give me the chance to arrange getting myself there to get the car. Cost was as estimated. Everything about the experience was excellent.
Of course, I would rather not need repairs again, but when I inevitably do, I know who gets my business.

I went to Lopez Auto Repair for a 100k maintenance and some odd jobs on a 2011 Cadillac CTS. I was walked through several potentail outcomes of work that might be needed. I dropped my car off and received a call several hours later that much of the work that was quoted, did not need to be completed.

Not only was I able to bring my car in to get checked the same day I called, the inspection was completed within two hours. This is a no frills repair shop that was easy to work with, especially when I wanted something done last minute. They did a full inspection and made me feel much more comfortable about my purchase. It turned out they ended up being the cheapest quote I received as well

10 stars for Lopez Auto! Honest, hard working, and great mechanics. I called to have them replace my headlight bulbs (unfortunately my car was manufactured to have the bumper removed to replace the headlights... ridiculous!) and they quoted me the best price in Austin and stuck to that price when I brought it in.
