LaPorta's Pizzeria was established in 1986. Here we are 35 years later with a large menu of many different kinds of delicious pizzas such as our Margherita, Buffalo Chicken, Greek and traditional Cheese and Pepperoni, huge calzones, wings, a variety of fresh salads, beer and wine. We pride ourselves in making our pizza the old fashioned way and using the freshest ingredients!
We are a family owned and operated business and our customers are also considered family because without you we would not be where we are today. We are very thankful to be here serving you! On Sunday's when the Buffalo Bills play at 1:00 pm, we will be closing at 8:00 pm due to short staffing issues.

Paid $44.+ for 2- 10.99 steak subs and an order of wings that shows the price of 10.99 on their current menu.32.97 + tax .What am I missing? Most other places give you the total when you order. If they told me this was the total I wouldn't have placed the order. The other thing was the wings were not crispy as I ordered on top of it.They lost another customer.

The pizza is like eating a tasteless pillow. That's about the highest compliment I can give it. The wings had a weird taste about them. Not off exactly, but not like your standard wings you'll find everywhere in the Buffalo area. Next time I feel like ordering a pizza and wings from here I'll have to remember to just throw the $58 directly into the garbage can, since that's where it ended up anyway. At least that would save the hassle of having it delivered.

I like the pizza, but I was having trouble finding a list of their toppings on the website. It kept bringing me to a different site. I decided to just call and ask and the guy who answered the phone was pretty rude about it. He said that they have "like 19 toppings" and that they should be "right there on the website" (if they were, I wouldn't be calling and asking, dude). Anyway, he just seemed to be getting really annoyed with me so I hung up. There's plenty of other pizza places around here. You should be kind to customers or don't work at a restaurant.

#ThankYouThursday to the good people at LaPorta's Pizzeria: when many of us were essentially afraid to leave the house, there you were, preparing delicious takeout food. And the BY FAR very BEST chef salad anywhere ever, chock full of goodness like chickpeas, cheese, black olives, Italian tomatoes, purple cabbage, cucumber- such a variety of colorful and nutritious veggies. The dressings are great too. So thank you this Thursday - and every day - for being there and dependable for fresh, delicious, nutritious food takeout.

Love this place! I have been going there for years and I have never had a bad experience. The pizza is my favorite! Always hot, cheesy, and well done crust. Wings always fresh and hot crispy. Their subs are my favorite. No one else loads them up like they do. Their staff is always friendly me their delivery drivers are gracious. As for the bad reviews, restaurants will have bad moments from time to time but their bad moments the few and far between. I often have to question people who leave such insulting reviews. I take them with grain of salt. As should you. I highly recommend!!!!!

Pizza is good. But be but be careful. They hire delivery drivers with DUI records. I was in there one time several years ago and heard a girl in the back yelling, "what are maggots?" A woman, her mother possibly, then told her not to speak so loud. The police arrived once over the harrassment/assault of an employee. Don't think the management and/or owner did anything to rectify the situation.

I have heard about them from one of my colleague who knew the owner and highly recommended this place just because he though the owner is a very nice gentleman! I decided to give it a try and it did not disappoint me! it was right before Corona outbreak, we placed our order and we went to spend some time at the adjacent super market meanwhile ( Dash's ) We got back to our car and was waiting for our order to be ready. They saw us and they brought the pizza to our car in the parking lot and it was very nice of them! very friendly and professional people. the pizza was really good but I&apos

After being in the house for over 1 month and being highly cautious as to eating anywhere but from a grocery store pickup, we decided to order LaPorta's pizza, wings and chick fingers. My teenagers were thrilled to eat food that didn't come out of a freezer package. I called ahead of time to make sure they'd bring the food out to our car trunk. And sure enough we popped our trunk and out came a man carrying our food with a mask & gloves on. Food was delicious and they wrote "Thank You" on a box. We'd like to say "Thank You" to the courageous staff/chefs

Small neighborhood pizza spot. Dough is hand spun, airy and sauce was tasty. We did the small pizza and 10 wings medium sauce for 21.99 and the pizza was pretty big. Blue cheese appeared to be homemade and served a plentiful amount. Wings were crispy and sauced well. Nothing fancy but basic done right. Service was friendly and place was tidy. We will be back.

Was excited to try their deep dish pizza and ordered tonight via grub hub. I ordered 2 hours in advance it it was immediately delayed 30 minutes. I ordered multiple additional veggie toppings as well as the parm sauce - and it only came with cheese. Literally cheese and bread. It was such a letdown. Won't be returning.

We had a horrible experience with LaPortas. We ordered a large pizza and the bottom was charred to the point where half the pizza was not edible.
Very disappointing, I could not believe the staff thought it was appropriate to give a half burned pizza to a patron. What made matters worse, is that the owner cashed me out, he saw how burned The pizza was and he allowed it to leave his place of business. I will never order Anything from there in the future.

First, the service has always been friendly and polite.
Second, I really wanted to like their pizza, but couldn't get past the cheese. It has an oddly sour taste that ruins the pizza. If you scrape the cheese off the crust is good.
Beyond their pizza their subs are really good, always consistently delicious.
Bottom line skip the pizza, order the subs.

A friend recommend this place for a calzone. I ordered over the phone for pick up. I got there about 6 minutes early and it was still in the oven. Which I was happy about because that means it wasn't sitting out in a box getting cold and soggy. The calzone was fresh, hot, and enormous. I walked out excited to get home to eat it. The flavors were delicious and it had the right amount of ingredients in it. Two thumbs up I will be back again!

With the lack of delivery options in Williamsville/Getzville, I gave LaPorta's a shot. I used to love the chicken finger subs here when I was a kid. And I must say, the chicken finger sub was still decent. It was a solid 3.5 stars. Good flavor and sauces-to-toppings ratio. Additionally, the char-bbq wings were quite tasty. I would say the chicken items the best thing here.
The pizza looked amazing, but somehow lacked any real flavor. It wasn't gross, just completely forgettable... I would not order it again. My search for Buffalo's best pizza will continue. Suggestions

I go here at lunchtime for slices regularly. I've been developing more of a preference for thin crust pizzas in the last couple of years, and while this isn't really a New York City style thin crust, it is thinner than a typical Buffalo pizza.
They reheat the slices in the pizza oven which give the crust that slight crispyness. The flavors of the sauce and cheese blend perfectly. I'm a fan.
There is a small but comfortable sit-down area and you can even order bottled beer here.
And as another reviewer stated, the owners always seem to be on premises which is great. To me

When this place first opened, there was no bathroom. So everyone used the Mexican Porta Potty that was outside, known colloquially as "La Porta Potty". The name stuck, and even though the porta potty is long since gone, and they actually have a real bathroom now, it will forever be named after that cute little outhouse that helped this place make its name.
