This place was comfortable, scenic, had a real 'home away from home' environment and peaceful! I would recommend this place to. Making a reservation online was easy and the long drive was worth it for the clean mountain air and the beautiful surroundings. We spent our days hiking the trails around the resort which are well-worn and easy to follow.

I highly recommend not staying at this property until they hire more professional and efficient property mangers. This property has potential with the beautiful surroundings. We had a back door that did not lock, bathtub did not work, and dirty. There are 6 stray cats which we fed. The property managers are very rude, specifically Country. They have a note stating to do dishes and take trash out which we did. We were charged 50 extra dollars stating we did not clean. She also scolded us with cuss words for feeding the stray cats.
Really unfortunate, we stayed there last year and had a totally

Pretty nice RV park. The location is excellent and centrally located. The surrounding area is beautiful with trees and trails. The amenities provided are nice. The only cons are that the hook ups could use some updating and the public showers and restrictions could use cleaning more often as well as the pond being better taken care of

OVERCROWDED. But, not all bad...
This RV park is in a good location, close to the Mescalero Apache Inn of the Mountain Gods Casino, as well as local Ruidoso hotspots...just be aware of the congestion and and ridiculously small RV spaces in the park (see photos).
We nicknamed the RV park "The Cat Park" or maybe "The Stray Cats" is more appropriate, based on the number of stray feral cats roaming around looking for love, or a handout...
On the upside; the camp employees are very nice, and very helpful. The owner/ manager was ok with us moving to a space we could fit into better. The water pressure

Headline: beautiful facility with great amenities. Loved the nearby hiking trail. For my camper, a 39 ft fifth wheel it was very challenging to get in to our spot. The spots are not as big as advertised and cars in the other spots made it hard to back in. I really loved the place but it was a pain to get setup. If your rig is smaller or a class A/C, it's perfect. Don't take my comments as negative, it's a great place but not ideal for bigger 5th wheels.

I would never stay here. The sites are small, crowded with trees, so don’t plan on using satellite, not well maintained and directly on one of the busiest streets in Ruidosa. All we heard for two days were motorcycles going up and down the road directly in front of our Site. They say pet friendly, but had no grass for your pet. They advertise a creek, but the foliage was overgrown. They advertise SamGood, but no discount or affiliation anymore. Cancelled the last two days and lost money because of noise and conditions.

3PM Sunday, office closed and no one available for help. Sites EXTREMELY close and small. Our site #53 was literally in the road.. if we would have sat out in our lawn chairs, we would have been in the narrow road. There was music BLARING from several campsites and unsupervised, very young kids screaming and running through the sites of others. We noticed so much alcohol and partying that I was worried a drunk would run us over especially since our site was in the road....This RV park was so awful that we did not finish setting up camp and left. We found another RV site that was much nicer and

We stayed on super short notice and got one of the family cabins. For our family of 6, it was a bit cramped but perfect otherwise. The XL cabin would be ideal for larger families. The cabin was clean, the water ran great and the drain in the shower was clear. We had a lovely stay and the creek in front of our cabin made it feel all the more special. We'll definitely be staying there again!

This is a nice park in a very pretty area. The roads in can be a little dodgy through town so suggest taking 70 in around town. They have good wifi and good size spots. Every spot is back in so be ready for that. The layout of the park is a little odd but it flows with the land so it works out well. My only complaint is the spot we were in was quite unlevel in multiple ways. We managed to get level though with some blocks and some patience. Most of the other spots we saw were more level though.
They have some nice looking cabins too, only saw the outside of them but they looked well maintained
