We are so very delighted we decided to move here! Mike and I have found The Oaks to be the perfect place for us. The staff and residents are friendly, supportive and helpful. We feel there are many opportunities to become engaged in activities, but never have felt pressured to do anything. There are plenty of activities on site and scheduled outings to enjoy in our communities. We have found both the pool and the walking path around the pond perfect for us to get our exercise. We believe the services available are all we could ever want or need.

I had some questions and concerns when we made the decision to move to The Oaks. However, it wasn't long before I became convinced this is a great place for Betsy and I to live. I enjoy the exercise room, opportunities to engage in activities I enjoy with the residents, and the very supportive staff. A big plus for us is the opportunity to attend mass or communion service everyday. The grounds here are excellent for viewing and walking.

I've lived here for 12 plus years, 7 years in the cottage #6 and 5 years in the apartment in Independent Living. I miss the cottage because of the birds, the deer and other animals. We both were born and raised on the farm. So the cottage was an ideal living place for us because it has brought back many memories. I enjoyed all the activities available; e.g. daily mass, exercise class, the pool and etc. When my wife Darlene was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, the staff and other residents were extremely helpful and supportive. With the support from the everyone in the community, I was able to take care

This place is amazing! The staff is so caring, kind and attentive. The facility is extremely clean and well maintained. My mother was in skilled nursing, she had her own room/apartment with her own complete bathroom including a shower. Dresser, armoire , television, phone and other comfy furniture with huge window overlooking garden. We could even decorate her room to her liking. All and every person working there were professional and attentive. They were always there to answer or ask questions. The nurses were readily available and informative. The CNAs were always available and helpful

This place is amazing. We could not find a skilled nursing facility that was better than this. Respect, dignity, cleanliness, attentiveness, qualified staff that goes beyond their and our expectations. And the food was crazy good! This is the place to be, no one comes close to personal attention, quality rooms/apartments, professional highly qualified staff. Always there for her and for us.

My grandmother was a patient here for rehabilitation to get her strong enough to walk around again after a hospital stay. I Could never call and get ahold of a nurse. The Doctor at the facility is unreachable and since he becomes the inpatients care provider I should be able to speak with him regarding a 95 year old woman who I have power of attorney over but I was never able to even get my questions answered. The nurses are so understaffed that they would just run out of the room when I was on the phone with my grandma and askied her to put them on (multiple times). She would wait in bed for assistance

This facility is bankrupt. Residents who live there now are not getting any reassurance from management regarding what rights they have in this matter and the financial outcome, so please don't think of having your loved one live here. Also, this facility was the loser in a $4.1 million dollar lawsuit when a jury found that a resident's medications were mismanaged leading to negative health consequences. There are many better managed, less expensive facilities in the area. Don't take the risk of losing all of the money your parent(s) saved for a lifetime.

This rehab needs more staff the nurses have to do it all and most likely are overworked that is why there is attitude. When trying to reach the nurse attending for your loved one the call goes to there nursing station and it rings forever then you get back to the operator who tries again same thing until many minutes goes by before you get the nurse on the line. Then you ask if they can keep you informed daily on how your loved one is progressing and they don’t call. The food is cold most times. If your loved one gets sick and needs medication you will wait days for there pharmacy to provide

Great place if you are able bodied and living in independent living! But if your loved one moves on to the memory care facility, buyer beware! My mother was asked to leave and revoked her life care plan after 2 incidents where she laid a hand on other residents. There was no one harmed - but she was considered a serious threat after that. Aggressive tendencies are a part of the progression of dementia, and I feel she was agitated when bored. Often I would come and see the residents all sitting in front of the television not moving or barely interacting with the staff. Stimulation seemed very minimal
