Dr Fotinos did his undergraduate studies at San Diego State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a minor in chemistry. His post graduate studies were completed at the University of the Pacific where he received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery.
For the past 30 years he's been a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Orange County Dental Association, Academy of Professional Team Dentistry, American Academy of Implantology, Spear Institute, San Diego State Alumni Association, University of the Pacific Alumni Association and the International Who's Who of Professionals.

Excellent customer service, excellent dentist, Dr Rosales, his dental assistant Amy, and the front desk Olga & Maria are very kind and efficient. Dr. Rosales and his staff stayed open during a recent holiday when most other doctors would be closing for the holiday. You guys rock! I have been coming to this office for dental cleanings and procedures for about 2 years now, and they have been consistently excellent throughout my experience. I've met both Dr Fotinos and Dr Rosales on multiple occasions and both took time to explain things clearly and ensure that I knew exactly why they recommended anything that they did. Scheduling has always been very easy, and the text reminders they send are super convenient so you don't forget your appointment. My daughter decided that she no longer wanted to be seen by a kids dentist and decided to join me at Dr. Fotinios'.
We decided to have her see Dr. Rosales.
Dr. Rosales and his assistant were VERY kind and gentle to my daughter (who was very nervous). My daughter left with a smile on her face after having two cavities filled. She said she felt no pain and "coolly" said the experience was no big deal. :-)

I'm not one to write reviews often, but Dr. Fotinos's dentistry practice is the exceptional! Utterly professional, thoroughly knowledgeable with great attention to detail. I never question their skill or quality of work! And my cleaning with their hygienist was impeccable. She was meticulous and unrushed! I was beyond impressed with my appointment at Dr. Fotinos's office.
My appointment was on time as usual, and my cleaning with quick and painless. I had a routine check-up with Dr, Fotinos after my cleaning. He was able to isolate the minor discomfort I had been having and fix it on the stop. They also took high-resolution images of potential future issues and booked a time to take care of it--hay presto. I felt taken care of.

All my life I have feared going to the dentist and have dealt with high anxiety. Seeing Dr. Fotinos and Dr. Rosales has taken away my anxiety. They are very calming with their techniques and I look forward to going to the dentist. The office staff is kind and friendly and know exactly how to calm my nerves. Thank you Dr.Rosales. Olga already called me & waived $84.71. My gum is infected & im experiencing the worst pain in my life. My concers were why I got the percedure that I didnt need at all...Why it wasnt any filling under my crown? Obviously, why I got charged $84 extra. I always paid the whole amount. Nothing but rave reviews for Dr. Rosales, Amy, and all of the staff here at Dr Fotinos' office. I hadn't visited a dentist in the past 4 years due to a traumatic experience at my last one. Even prior to that experience, I would only schedule dentist appointments once there was an issue. I've had many dental problems growing up as a child and Dr. Fotinos provided many preventative and cosmetic treatment for me. He saved my smile through his expertise, honesty, and dental education. 1: I feel I was lied to and that the treatment I received was not necessary, and vastly more expensive than what was actually required.
2: I have never been in such excruciating pain when getting numbed before. The doctor responded to my literal screaming with "yep, that's your nerve".
3: here I am, 3 weeks after treatment, and I am in pain. I went in to have my filling fixed and the dentist convinced me I needed two new fillings and he removed HALF of my tooth. I didn't agree to that much removal, and once I saw it, it was already done. He also stated immediately

I have really appreciated my experience here with Dr.Fontino and Dr. Rosales. I have been personally taken care of by all the waitstaff. Everyone here is extremely kind and caring! I also enjoy the breakdown of everything that is happening with my procedures. It allows me to feel as though I’m am learning more on maintaining a healthy smile!

My entire experience working with Dr. Rosales and his staff and been beyond five stars. When I spoke with Olga just to ask if they were taking new patients I already knew this was the place for me. Over the pandemic, I quit drinking, lost some weight, and really took charge of working on my mental health which lead to my overall health. I read how important dental care is and how it can affect your health (dementia, health problems, etc) My first appointment could not have gone better. This dental office is one of the best, if not the best, offices that provides top-notch services to its clients. Everyone is highly professional and respectful. Dr. Rosales explains everything in detail to make sure you understand what the current situation is, and what treatment is needed. Olga, at the reception desk, is very respectful, patient, and nice. Dr. Fotinos and team have been phenomenal. I went without insurance for many years and had old metal fillings that needed to be replaced- not an exciting prospect. However, this has been one of the least painful, easiest to schedule, and overall best experiences I've had in healthcare period. I would recommend this office to anyone seeking dental care.

Dr. Rosales is the man. He gives you his personal phone number because he's that class act. If I had kids I would give them to Rosales because I trust him more than myself. But instead, I have teeth and Dr. Rosales treated them like he really cared. They're constantly asking you how you're doing or what fears you have. They recognize that dentistry isn't something a lot of people like, but they incessantly work to help remove the psychological barriers if you have any.
