My family started going to Russell Kelly when our regular dentist of 20 years became ill and sent all of her patients to him. I have to agree about the lack of bedside manner that a previous reviewer noted. The guy is gruff and full of himself. He obviously hasn't changed since that 2012 review. My teenage daughter has a deviated septum and had difficulty breathing through her nose during long procedures. Russell Kelly gave her such are a hard time for it that she almost refused to go back. When my dentist closed up shop locally in order to relocate her family back East I was left without a dentist. Doctor Russell Kelly has excellent bedside manner. He is kind, compassionate, understanding, and knowledgeable. As someone who never gets fully numb and goes through medication quickly I am always at ease knowing that Doctor Russell accommodates my needs for a less painful or traumatic dental experience. Genuinely impressed by this office. On my first visit for a cleaning I was treated like family by all office staff. Everyone is so nice, and Dr. Kelly takes the time to make sure all of your questions are answered. I have never seen a dentist so thorough in his work. Dr. Kelly is a great dentist! Him and his staff always try to help you out, are all very personable and after a visit or two you feel like you're seeing your friends. When walking in from the waiting room you're always greeted with a smile and friendly hello. Also they always make sure you're comfortable whether it be cleaning your teeth or filling a cavity. Dr. Kelly and his staff are some of the nicest people I've met here in Orange. I broke a tooth and they fit me in that day, even though I was a brand new patient, and took good care of me. I don't have dental insurance and they totally worked with me regarding payment, too. Highly recommend them if you're looking for quality dental work done by really nice people.
