Sunset Family Physicians is headed by Dr. Bernadette Francois, MD and was founded to provide quality Primary Care care to patients in the Phoenix metro area. We have been in practice for sixteen years and have relocated in the West Valley four years ago. We are located at 13645 West Indian School Rd., Lichfield Park, AZ in the Sunset Family Physicians building.

I have called 3 times and someone is hanging up immediately and then on my 4th call they put me immediately on hold. On my 5th call I finally got an answer after 7 rings and was finally helped. Nothing makes me more frustrating than blatant disregard for people like that, especially at a doctors office. This is peoples HEALTH. Answer the phone and do your job.

I've made appointment with Dr. Francois for my wife as a new patient. My wife showed - up at appointment time to be seen by Dr. Francois for first time. In fact, my wife was seen not by Dr. Francois, but her assistant. More medical advice we could find on the internet. This visit was waste of time and waste of money - big chunk to be paid by Medicare, the rest to be paid by my wife.
Dr. Francois, if you don't like new patients, no problem, but at least be kind and let your office workers to inform prospective patients, you don't have time to see new patients, but your p/a, nurse , or whoever else

I’ve been coming to this place for 23 years. SINCE I WAS A 10 MONTH INFANT. there is absolutely no reason or excuses for the disrespect, judgements, rushing you out of your appointments, long waits, results take forever to come back to you. oh and there’s absolutely NO EXCUSES FOR THE PHONES TO NOT WORK RIGHT EITHER.

Dr. Francois and her staff have been very helpful, considerate and responsive to my care. Dr. Francois takes her time to address my questions and concerns and not only provides insights into standard meds, but also all natural alternatives like vitamins/supplements. I have been going to Dr. Francois for over 10 years (prior to her move to the Indian School location) and absolutely trust her with my care and have always been pleased with staff as it relates to appointment scheduling and obtaining testing results. My results have always come in a timely fashion and they are available for review over

Save your time and frustration stay away from this office. They are unorganized clueless and they have no value in their patients. My husband took blood work in July and has not heard back for the results. I have called numerous times only for them to blame lab corp when lo and behold they had they results the whole time. I have been calling for 2 days for the doctor give me her opinion. I will never go back to this office again nor will I refer them. The results are old and useless and what makes it worse is I now have a bill from lab corp that is for nothing. Find somewhere else to go this place

Avoid at all cost.Dr. Francois is clueless! My personal opinion. the staff has been great, but I'm seeking elsewhere for my primary doctor. Can't deal with this doctor anymore, rude and inconsiderate. Having her for my primary doctor was a complete and utter waste of my time. take my advice look elsewhere.

This practice only wants your money, not to provide adequate care. Listen to the previous posters!!! My mom and dad have to pay out of pocket as they have no insurance. My mom visits Ms Aponte for high blood pressure, pays $75. Meds make her feel unwell, calls for advice. Ms Aponte promises to call back repeatedly, but never does. Ms Aponte and company want another $75 just to talk. This practice does not care for its patients, just their money. My mom is really sick and suffering and there's not much being done. Do something other than to ask for a visit every time my mom has a question about

Dr. Cynthia Aponte is wonderful and extremely attentive to her patients. She is willing to push for every solution to help with an illness and it's fantastic that I can get my women's wellness exam and depo shots there as well. The only complaint I have is that I have trouble refilling my medication unless I have an appointment. Also I called at 4:30 pm on a Friday and the office was already closed when they claim on their phone message to be open until 5:30.
