This shop is hands down the best. My suv had all kinds of issues from electrical & computer to needing new hoses, to not passing smog, and much more, Paul was able to find and fix issues that other shops including the dealership didn't or couldn't fix. I was about to give up on things being right on my vehicle, Paul found & fixed it all.

We've taken our cars here for as long as we've lived in the neighborhood and the service has always been exceptional. Today I called to ask about having my transmission fluid changed, which had been recommended by a national chain but they were unable to perform the service. The owner told me it was highly unlikely I needed that particular service. I really appreciate his honesty, which when it comes to car services seems hard to find. I will continue to bring my vehicles here.

I've been going to Glenmoor Auto for easily 20 years, and have always had good experiences there. I just brought my Prius in. It needed to be jumped nearly every day, and the dealership was no help. Glenmoor Auto monitored it for as long as it took, found some issues, and now my car works perfectly again. I was about to trade it in, but they saved it.

I've been taking my Mustang to Glenmoor for about 4 years now and feel that I have found a mechanic who is trustworthy and knows his cars. He communicates with me if further repairs need to be done before even starting, his prices are reasonable and he understands the issues I'm having whenever something happens to my car. He explains what he will be doing, gives an estimate and I get my car back without any issues. I now take my Mercedes there and know it will get serviced right. The worst customer service I have ever come across in my life. The owner Paul seemed really angry with something in his life and we seemed to be in his cross hairs as a result of that.
We had a copy of a coupon on our phones and on our email. We called twice, once to enquire about coupons & 2nd time to set up a time. Both times he never mentioned we need to print out the coupon. His webpage(On October 27,2016) also does not say that we need to print out his coupon for SMOG check.
When we get there he says "I'm not gonna do YOUR job for you"(of printing the coupon) & he

First time customer and SUPER PLEASED to have found Paul at Glenmoor Automotive.
DMV required a STAR Smog Station for our '94 Honda Accord Excel and after reading Yelp reviews, I gave Paul a call. My appointment next morning went very smoothly, starting with Paul's warm and friendly welcome.
Work started on time. I enjoyed comfortable seating while waiting in his clean showroom and was pleasantly surprised when my car was ready in one hour. Will definitely recommend Paul to family and friends. Glenmoor Automotive is a huge asset to Fremont, offering fair prices, excellent service

I had need of a smog repair technician, the first place I went to with my motorhome was a check only smog station, it failed, I was told to take it to a place that would do a diagnostic check and repair. That was how I ended up at Glenmore automotive, my first impression of the place was very clean and organized,
Paul greeted me warmly with the impression that he really knew what he was talking about, he told me he could do a diagnostic test quoted me the price which I agreed on and he proceeded to do the test. it turns out that my motorhome needed a sensor which is going to be hard to locate,

I was very happy with the help I received. When I first got there I had to wait a few minutes, Looked around and noticed pamphlets for workshops on "getting to know your car, for Women". I thought that was way cool. But unfortunately the class was last week, although there was still a lot of good info inside. Okay, so when I went up to the counter and explained that my car didn't pass smog, I was told not to worry and he gave me options with estimates.Short story longer, The mechanics were easily able to fix it after they did the Diagnostic test, annnnd that's all he charged

Being a young female I get a bit concerned going into car repair of any sort because I don't know much about cars. I decided to go in anyways even though my fiancé wasn't available to come with me. You can tell Paul is a man of integrity. He was honest and gave great advice, because of my car troubles. He knew I was getting married soon and understood the expenses of that was already high and told me even if I had made all the repairs for valve body and fuel pump that with my high mileage and year that my car might not last much longer and might have to at that point buy my car back

Had to have my battery replaced again -- it wouldn't hold a charge after the car sat in the driveway for two weeks. On the positive side, the AC Delco battery I got at Glenmoor two years ago was still under a full replacement warranty, and the alternator and starter checked out fine.
On the negative side, this has been a continuing problem with batteries lasting less than three years (first at Sears, now at Glenmoor), and despite the warranty I still had to pay $71 for a Starting & Charging System Inspection.

I recently took my car to Glenmoor Auto with brake trouble. The master cylinder on my brakes is going out, and that seemed like the kind of problem to take care of posthaste. I can absolutely say that this business is a complete rip off.
The part costs 63 dollars new, and labor on it as quoted by the repair manual is approximately one hour. Glenmoore Auto quoted me 558 dollars for the part and repair! This is even more egregious considering the nearby Midas quoted me 156 dollars!
It seems to be a theme with Glenmoore Auto Repair. They prey on customers they perceive as having no knowledge of

I have taken my car to Glenmoor Auto on more than 5 occasions in the past couple of years, and I have always been pleased with their work, honesty, and good customer service. Gary (the owner) has always been pleasant and very helpful.

Took my car there a couple weeks ago for an oil change. Job was done quickly at the price quoted. However, the owner was having a bad day. Apparently he had problems with some of his employees and he took it out on me. Since my neighbors and the other reviewers here think highly of him, I will go back again and give him one more go.

I had an older GMC truck with a large big block gas guzzling V8. Before selling it I had to get it to pass smog. First, I took it to a Test - Only shop. It failed miserably and the suggestions from the technician didn't help it pass.
Next, I took it to a nearby shop and after another $300, and a bunch of new parts that I still doubt were necessary to replace, the results were less than favorable.
After a few weeks of frustration, I remembered someone telling me about the difference between a smog only test center and a gold shield test center. Smog only test centers do just that
