They were upfront when I dropped it off that they might not be able to fully remove it, due to the nature of the stain and the colour of the clothing.

This place is the best. Over the last several months, we have probably brought in about 10 articles of clothing, ranging from button-down shirts, to suits, and nice cocktail dresses. No matter what the stain is these guys ALWAYS have managed to get it out. We have had extensive wine stains, blood stains, as well as simple dirt and grime, but every single time they have returned our garments to us looking like new. Additionally, the prices are very fair, the staff friendly, and the service speedy.

I gave Orinda Cleaners two special newly-purchased dress shirts to launder and press for my daughter's wedding. Orinda Cleaners told me (and the receipt said) the shirts would be ready for pick up on Saturday at noon. I went to pick up the shirts on Saturday and they told me the shirts were sent out to be cleaned and would not be back until Monday. I was shocked and had to go buy new shirts to take to the wedding that night. Orinda Cleaners did not even apologize. They are liars -- their receipts for Orinda Cleaners say "All Work Done On Premises." I like to support local businesses

Without exaggeration, I went to the tailor (not at Clean Cleaners) to pick up my bridesmaids gown, and it was totally wrinkled and even stained on the bottom. I had to leave for the wedding in less than two hours. Yeah, worst bridesmaid ever. I rushed into Clean Cleaners in a panic, and they were beyond amazing, fixed the stains where they could and fluffed and steamed the gown to as close to perfect as could be. Forever grateful, so is the bride (though she will never know)!

Great, fast job, and kind owners. They remember my name when I come in - and I only come in about once a month. I've had them work on tough stains, dry clean, launder, and do simple alterations. Everything has been exactly as expected. Highly recommend this local business!

At first I was hesitant to go to this place for the bad reviews it has from years ago. But then I find out that it went under new management few months ago. And oh boy! I'm amazed by the excellent customer service. The price is about right for the service you get. My clothes were spotless and beautifully pressed. I definitely give 5 stars to each person who handled my clothes. I'm a customer forever. Thank you soooo much! I totally recommend this place!!

Wow! All I have to say is wow! The customer service is amazing! I needed a dress for my daughters baptism and I forgot to pick it up, when I called after hours no answer I emailed they yelp and they called me back in 10min and opened the store for me to get the dress!!!!!! Forever a customer!

Orinda Cleaners is under new ownership. We recently stopped by in desperation. My fiance had left a suit to be dry cleaned at a nearby dry cleaner, but didn't note the time that the dry cleaner closed. As a result, when he went Saturday afternoon to pick up his suit, they were closed! Unfortunately, he needed the suit for an event we were attending that evening! We frantically brought another of his suits to Orinda Cleaners, hoping that they would be able to dry clean it in time. I had a difficult alteration problem. They reviewed the project and said they could accomplish it. It was done so well, and the price was extremely reasonable. I highly recommend them for alterations!

1 shirt is "$8.50" to dry clean. There's no posted price, and the last time I went in they charged me $25 for a suit, which also seems high.

If be curious to know what others have paid for dry cleaning 1 button down shirt. I think this business is dishonest, and the lady behind the counter is a shrew.

Very disappointed. I like doing business with local businesses but this one was dishonest. I was a new customer and took in several outfits for cleaning. I made sure to ask about the price before I left my cleaning. When I picked up my clothes they charged me more than twice the price! No explanation, no phone call and the person there just shrugged her shoulders. Never ever going back, I don't do business with dishonest or bait and switch shops.

I was looking for a new drycleaner and after trying Orinda Cleaners, I'm still looking. I'm sure a lot of people like the old-timey charm of this place but the lack of computer system (so you have to bring in the receipt instead of looking up by phone number) and the fact that they take checks/cash only is a dealbreaker for me.

When I dropped off the clothes, I tried to ask how much my order would be so I'd know how much cash to bring with me and the lady said she didn't know. I then asked for a ballpark estimate and she begrugdingly did a back of the envelope estimate for
