This review is three stars due to a consistent lack of communication and not due to the quality of the repairs. I dropped off one pair of pants (hole repair in the pockets) and one dress shirt (hole repair in the sleeves) a few days before Thanksgiving. The original quote was to come back the following Tuesday. I waited a day before returning, and was told it wasn't ready yet. No problem, since I wasn't in a rush. A week later, when I was in the area, I called and stopped by again to ask if they were ready. The person said that the pants were ready but the shirt needed more time because it was

I love this place, along with supporting a small neighborhood business. They do a great job with my fancy shirts, and have expedited on the rare occasion when I'm pressed for time (no pun intended). They've also done small repairs quite well. The owner, Sunny, is very sweet...always with a smile. It may be a little pricey, but with the high commercial rents in Rockridge it's not surprising.

This place was the biggest rip off ever! When I asked for my total upon dropping off my sweaters the woman told me that it would be $15, and when I picked them up she said that no, it was $15 each and $85. That is triple what it should have cost and the quality was not worth it by any means. I will never ever return or recommend this place.

I've been going here for 13 years now and I can say, without reservation, they are the best cleaners in the area. I am EXTREMELY particular about my clothing, and I test all cobblers and cleaners with a very difficult job in the beginning. This establishment has far exceeded any of the competition. Highly recommend. And, BTW, you get what you pay for. They take the time to cover my buttons, block my St. John knits, perfectly press all pleats...
