Acupuncture is an ancient healing art from China that has been used for over two thousand years. In the theory of acupuncture, man is healthy when the vital life energy of "Qi"-pronounced 'chee'- is in balance (excess, deplete, stagnated, etc.), we feel unwell or may get sick. Consequently, acupuncture is used to control and restore the balanced Qi by manipulating needles on specific points of the surface of the body.
Shiatsu is an oriental healing art of acupressure by fingers or palms developed in Japan from Chinese ancient Anma massage. The straight down comfortable pressure is applied to the numerous acupuncture points of the body. Reflexology has been practiced for at least 2,000 years in ancient China, Egypt and India.

I went to them through an insurance company called A.S.H. which is used by Kaiser, after Kaiser lying to me and tellign me I was not covered for Chiropractors for years... and it was amazing.
If I had known sooner, and gone, i would have saved myself a lot of headaches and body aches. It is better than pain killers.
I believe it all depends on the healer you go and see. But yes, I believe this is opening a new chapter in my life, which i have needed so very much.
Screw narcotic pain meds... go try Madrasah Sasaki and his techniques. He is amazing and has such a calming and straight forward

Dr. Sasaki fixed my tmj within a few short sessions. His techniques are the best and gentle. I tried acupuncture for the first time with him and now swear by it! I now have my husband (was very skeptical of chiropractic and acupuncture) and now he enjoys seeing the doc also. The office is clean and relaxing. It is organized and flexible and accommodating to my schedule and needs.
I totally recommend anyone to give Dr. Sasaki a chance and your body won't regret it! Simple holistic techniques that work.

Dr. Sasake is a referral and he is awesome! He really takes care of me. I always feel so much better after my treatment and I trust him when it comes to adjusting my body. He has really changed my mind about acupuncture too. It helped my chronic pain tremendously. He's very professional, polite and kind!

My husband and mom have been going to Dr. Sasaki for over 15 years and they've had great success in managing/treating their pain. After suffering from low back pain for many years, I finally decided to give it a try. It's amazing how Dr. Sasaki is able to "read" ones body and identify the health problems one suffers from (stress, digestive problems, scoliosis, etc...). He suggested I start my treatment with chiropractic manipulation and I already feel better!
