Don't go to this place! I asked why my oil change will take 45 minutes, the guy behind the counter proceeded to call me an a-hole at least twice, said he didn't give a sh#t why I was there or that I had to drive 30 miles to get there. He was literally screaming, and refused to change my oil. I apologize for whatever I did, he said he would do it once but never want to see my face again. I left.

All my friends I refer to this place refer their friends! They have been in business 25+ years and are by far the best mechanics in Mira Mesa. They service both my work and business fleets.

We have been going to this shop for almost 20 years when Fred owned it. Paul bought the shop almost 4 years ago and we continued with him. The work was done on time and no complaints. On 2/17/21 my sister took her Jaguar to have two wires connected to her battery for a battery maintenance device. It took about 10 to 15 minutes. He charged $53.50 plus $3.50 for hazard waste fee. The labor charge was rather steep, but the other charge had nothing to do with her car. Paul said this is a standard charge on all of his invoices. We no longer have trust in Paul and sadly must find a new mechanic.

Updated Review: Paul and his team are absolutely fantastic! They were able to swap the rear differential on my Cadillac CTS4. It was practically impossible finding the part but Paul managed to find a very sturdy & practically new differential. The car drives very smoothly and it’s all due to the team at 7 to 7. You guys rock!

Paul and his guys are the best! They really know their stuff. We take our Land Rovers and Jeeps to him exclusively. He never tries to upsell you, or encourage you to fix things that don't need to be fixed. His prices are fair, his quality of workmanship is outstanding, and he always has good advice on the maintenance of your vehicle. A good diagnostician is worth their weight in gold, and these guys have had no problem figuring out any curve ball I've (or should I say my cars) have thrown them. Do yourself a favor, and go to the best. I'm really glad we found him!

Paul and his team are nothing but fantastic. They found a part for my Cadillac CTS4 that's practically impossible to find. At times the part wasn't even on the market all throughout the United States. Fortunately Paul was able to come across the part and it was practically new. As soon as he snagged the part from the market he immediately installed it & boom! The car drove like brand new. If you need you car fixed, Paul & his team are the only ones you should ever go to!

I'm so glad we found this place. We started coming to 7 to 7 Auto Services about 2 years ago. At the time my husband and I were just looking for a place to work on his car near his place of work. Of course we used yelp to pick a place and the reviews were really good here. Now two years later we only bring our two cars.

We fixed our car in 7 to 7 a couple of weeks ago. And the car started making a knocking noise and shaking. We went to them and asked for help. Because we have a long way to go. But the employee had one hour before closing. And he didn't even want to see what happened to the car. All he said was,"my day is almost over." And " come back next week." I understand, but the car is life. If suddenly, that breaks down, then no one will restore our lives. And it's not our fault, because they already fixed the front wheels and we paid for it.

I have been using 7 to & Auto services for 6 years. The original owner Fred was amazing, honest and never felt like I over paid for any work done and at the time I had a BMW that broke down monthly.
Business was sold to Paul years ago and I continued to come. Like Fred, Paul is honest, upfront and does not candy coat anything. I bring my car to Paul for oil changes, routine work and anything in between and he never disappoints. My mom and daughter also bring their cars here and I reccommend him to anyone looking for a great mechanic. You will not go wrong :-)

Very good value for oil change. Performed in 15 mins while I wait in a nice office. They checked my engine as it would not start due to my not having driven my 2013 Mazda for over a month. They were honest - it only had 29K miles so no need to repair anything!! Told me that this model has very little maintenance and advised me as to what and when to maintain. Definitely coming back here for future repairs.

I've had services done here twice now and I'm really happy to find an auto shop that I trust. I found the shop through Groupon and decided to give it a try after reading great reviews. I called Paul to ask about an Oil Change. He had me in the same day and I was out the door very quickly. I found the place easy to find and although I cannot speak to the quality of work on major repairs I can say the shop was organized, waiting room clean including restroom (not always the case in auto shops) and Paul the owner was pleasant and friendly. I heard his conversations regarding cars and he is very knowledgeable. The service here is spot on! Scheduling an appointment was super easy. They called me and explained everything very detailed on what's going on with my vehicle. They checked with my warranty company with out me even having to ask questions about what was covered or not. They called around looking for the best deals on parts for me, even checking scrap yards. Wow. It is never nice to have your car break down, but it certainly was a pleasure dealing with this repair shop. I made an appointment online, received an email confirming the appointment within approximately ten minutes, and then was taken immediately when I showed up at the time of the appointment. Awesome place. Took my car in for a lot of work(struts, wheel bearing, brakes, engine mounts, and oil change) and had it all finished the the same day. I had just purchased a 2008 Porsche Cayenne, it overheated and broke down on the way to Big Bear. I had it towed to a Porsche dealership where they quoted my $3000 to fix a cooling line and clear a code. I told Paul at 7 to 7 what the dealer was asking for the repair, he was able to repair my Porsche for $450!
