Cannon-Cleveland Funeral Directors
Planning a funeral for a loved one is one of life's rituals that almost all of us will encounter at some point in our lives. You may feel deep sadness as you plan this funeral, but creating a meaningful tribute for someone who meant so much to your own life can help put you on the path to healing.

As you consider the various aspects of a funeral for a burial or cremation, there are several elements that you will need to consider in order to create a touching tribute for your loved one.The facility names were updated to "Cannon Cleveland" and construction of a new facility was immediately in the works.
Services
The facility names were updated to "Cannon Cleveland" and construction of a new facility was immediately in the works. Today, that facility remains locally owned and operated by Greg Cannon and Peter Thornton. Our mission is clear: To provide caring, individualized professional services that help families celebrate the lives of those they love and effectively grieve their deaths.
Staff members of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff of licensed funeral directors.

Greg Cannon, President/CEO, Funeral Director/Embalmer, - Greg is a resident of McDonough, Georgia, and a graduate of Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service, where he served as Class President and is also a member of Pi Sigma Eta.He is a member of the Academy Of Graduate Embalmers Of Georgia. He has received his CPC (Certified Preplanning Consultant) certification and the CFSP (Certified Funeral Service Practitioner) designation.
After Step 1 is submitted, we will contact you to schedule an appointment at the funeral home to verify the death certificate information, sign the legal authorizations, and fulfill the financial obligations. This meeting should take no longer than 1 hour. Once proper legal authorizations and documents are in place, your loved one will be cremated and you will be contacted to receive the cremated remains into your possession.
Someone you love has died. You are now faced with the difficult, but important, need to mourn. Mourning is the open expression of your thoughts and feelings regarding the death and the person who died. It is an essential part of healing. The following articles provide many practical suggestions to help you move toward healing in your unique grief journey.
Most of us are not prepared to plan and carry out a funeral ceremony for someone we love. And so much of the information available on this critically important subject fails to focus on what is most important: having a personalized, meaningful funeral that helps families and friends begin the healing process of mourning after the death of someone we love.

Cannon-Cleveland Funeral Directors did a fantastic job with my father inlaw Millard Culpepper. He passed away from cancer. He lost so much weight and you could tell in his face. Cannon-Cleveland Funeral Directors made him look so good. He really looked like he was just sleeping. We had the pleasure of working with Hannah Zeppelin as our coordinator. She was respectful, compassionate, kind and understanding. Lucinda and Amanda helped me with the pictures and they were also respectful, compassionate, kind and understanding. Again Cannon-Cleveland Funeral Directors did a wonderful job working with

Cannon Cleveland in McDonough is the very best around. They are so helpful compassionate and just on top of everything most of all the family’s feelings and wishes.
They also do not try to up sale you on anything. It was not a sales experience with then it was truly about jist what the family wanted for their loved one.
Also Hannah Zeplin was our coordinator and she was so thoughtful sympathetic patient and over all a complete joy to work worth in a difficult situation.
Thanks from the Schray and Pippin family!

Our second time using Cannon Cleveland within the last four years and again Hannah Zeppelin was so compassionate, kind, and respectful. Most recently, during the loss of my mother, she went out of the way to accommodate the needs of our family.
Cannon Cleveland handled my mother with dignity and respect when they came to our home to pick her up, and presented her beautifully in a natural and peaceful state for viewing.
Thank you for your services and the compassion of your staff, it is impeccable!

Cannon-Cleveland Funeral Directors did an awesome job as we laid my father to rest this year. They were very informative, knowledgeable, attentive, and patient. The staff treated our family with the utmost respect and they also showed great care to my father. The facility is beautiful, well-kept, and spacious. The entire process, from start to finish, was smooth and effortless. During a time of bereavement, you should be allowed to grieve and focus on family and friends and the staff at Cannon-Cleveland allowed us to do just that! Our family thanks you! KLReese

Our son passed away unexpectedly and Cannon Cleveland was right there every step of the way. Their care and compassion during such a difficult time for us was so comforting. They took care of everything for our son from his cremation to his funeral service and filing all of the necessary paperwork. Above all, their professionalism was above and beyond.

I would highly recommend Cannon Cleveland for your lost loved one. They are kind, understanding and efficient. We worked with Craig Burnett and he was amazing. We lost two loved once in a two months time period and he was I director for both. He was just what we needed. We could never thank him enough for his kindness, gentleness and understanding to our family.
