At our Funeral Home, we understand the importance of family. We believe in treating your family as we would our own. To do that, it's best you know a little about us first - please explore this section so that you may learn about our caring staff, our beautiful facilities, and our history of service.
Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center is the result of the desire of Cade Williamson, a fifth generation funeral director, to carry on the family tradition. The legacy began in 1897 with Cade's great, great grandfather, R. J. Coulter, at R. J. Coulter Undertaking Company in Dayton, Tennessee.
The family has grown and several branches of the funeral firm have come and gone over the years but the tradition of being "family owned and family focused" is practiced again today in the same manner as Cade's great great grandfather, the late R. J. Coulter and his grandfather, the late Jimmy Williamson, Sr.We are dedicated to serving our families with respect and dignity.

Cade is a 5th generation funeral service professional. He received his degree in Mortuary Science from John A. Gupton College in Nashville, Tennessee. He is pleased to be able to present to our community the outstanding professionalism and kindness of our staffs, our modern and immaculate facilities and our unprecedented Signature Services Program.
We are proud to be the only locally-owned funeral homes and on-site crematory north of the river in Hamilton County. In today's fast paced world, it is often difficult, if not impossible, to know who owns the business you are dealing with. What you may not know is that not all funeral homes are owned by local families.
Keeping with our open door policy at our funeral homes, we provide this section for individuals and families who have questions or concerns regarding funeral services and would like the opportunity to ask - without making an appointment to come in and see us at the funeral home. Feel free to ask whatever's on your mind, regardless of whether your family has been served by our firm or not.
