Services
To help with the treatment process, sometimes bloodwork is recommended to properly diagnose your pet and verify if the recommended treatment plan will be the best course for your pet. Certain medications can alter organ function if those organs are already in bad condition. It is always best to get a base line before any medication is started to know if your pet has improved after the treatment is completed.
Here at Cole Veterinary Hospital, we utilize state of the art monitoring equipment during all of our anesthetic procedures for animal surgery. Our Licensed Veterinary Technicians are side by side with the Veterinarian, ensuring your pet is closely monitored throughout his or her entire surgical procedure.
There are several reasons to either spay or neuter your pet regardless of whether or not you plan on housing him inside or outside. One reason to have this procedure completed is to reduce the amount of behavioral issues that arise in pets. If you have ever watched a cat decide to mark its territory in your home, then you have had experience some of these issues.
Caring for your pet's teeth is just as important as caring for your own. We at Cole Veterinary Hospital recommend evaluating your pet's teeth every year. Approximately 70-80% of pets show signs of dental disease by the age of three. Advanced animal dental disease can lead to infection and tooth loss, and also have effects on the heart, liver, and kidneys.
If you've noticed anything on your pet's skin that concerns you, or that appears to bother your pet, ask your vet to check it out. Your vet will tell you if it's safe to just leave it alone! CryoProbe can remove most common animal skin pathologies in just a few seconds, such as extra eyelashes (distichiasis), warts and small skin tumors, tumors in the mouth, and more.

Over the new year weekend, my rat terrier, Jack was in an immense amount of mouth pain. After 3 emergency vet visits to try and keep him comfortable, he needed to have dental X-rays and a proper mouth exam. Cole Veterinary Hospital was able to squeeze him in to get him looked at. Both, Dr. Travis and Dr. Warhausen were incredible with Jack and me. They were able to extract 4 teeth and instantly relieve Jack’s pain. I’m extremely grateful for the team at Cole, because I was scared that I may lose my best friend. THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!

So far so good. Everyone seems super caring. Prices were reasonable. My kit was in and out quickly and got the care he needed. I don't love that I can't go in with him, but that's the way all vets are going about things right now. Stupid covid!

I had to take my cat here after an emergency hospital visit for more monitoring and IV fluids. The vet personally came out and talked to us about what they were going to do with my cat and an estimate on how much it would be. They called us with an update on him halfway through the day. Once we came to pick him up the vet came out again to explain everything that they did and the price was almost half what they originally quoted, which was amazing after the ER visit. I loved that they didn't just charge us for things he didnt actually need, that the vet came out personally to explain everything

I had two rabbits neutered. The doctors knew the risks involved and were honest with it. The girls came out fine! One started to get gastric stasis, but I pulled her through it. I wasn’t able to get ahold of anyone on the “emergency” phone, and that would have been unfortunate if I didn’t have what I needed in hand and how to deal with it. They were very nice people to work with. Prices were reasonable.
