At the very beginning, they carefully explain all costs and fees that will be charged to complete the treatment process.
The following orthodontic emergencies and their treatments are listed in the order of the least severe to the most severe. Only the most severe emergencies may require immediate attention by an orthodontist. The majority of these are easily treated with a follow-up appointment with Dr. Gomez. Small difficulties occasionally occur during orthodontic treatment and in many cases can be taken care of at home, with a follow-up appointment if needed.

My experience with Dr. Gomez has been better than expected. I have been seeing Dr. Gomez for about half a year now and do not have anything negative to say, she really understands what she is talking about and listens to any concerns you may have. The staff are also very friendly and will be happy to assist you in any way they can. If you are looking for an orthodontist who can offer great service then Dr. Gomez should be your next choice.

My 13 year old son has been under the very competent care of Dr. Gomez for Invisalign for about 10 months now. We couldn't be more pleased with Dr. Gomez. She is very thorough and clear in her explanations. She responds promptly to any questions that we've had between appointments. It has been very easy to schedule appointments with her and she is always on time. It's a plus that her office is very accessible to many parts of the Bay Area and there is plenty of parking. Most of all, my son loves Dr. Gomez and we know that he is getting excellent care with her.

My 15 year old son just had his braces taken off and now has a retainer. Dr. Gomez has been wonderful through the whole process. She is very clear about treatment and what is needed and not needed. My son loves her and her care for him has been gentle and high quality. She relates very well to teenagers. She set up a doable payment plan with us. Her office location and parking is very convenient. If my other children need braces I will definitely return to Dr. Gomez.

As a healthcare provider myself, I know what great care looks like, and Dr Maybelle Gomez is a great clinician - technically and personally. She is an excellent educator, and we always know what is going on and what to expect. She takes time to listen and to teach us how to best care for our daughter's teeth, and my teenage daughter always knows what she has to do to take care of her own teeth after each visit. We never feel like we're being rushed, and she follows through with our concerns. Dr Gomez is kind and gentle. We are very grateful that our daughter is under the care of an amazing orthodontist
