Making an appointment was very simple.It is a small open salon inside another salon. My lash tech Gina as very nice and gentle. I really wanted to loVe this place but the quality was just not there. The same night I got my new set of 90 pc lashes , I had lashes falling out. I got them done the Tuesday before Thanksgiving and called the next day to make an appointment to come in and have them fixed. Have been to many other lash salons in the past, but Barbi is the best service. I now only go to Barbi for my lashes, if you can ask for Mia, she is fantastic, works quickly but efficiently. She is really prompt and never makes me wait. Excellent quality work by her. I will only go to Mia now. Easy to make appointments too.

I been going to Mia for almost 2 years and she has done my lashes like no one else can and she is fast!! She always tries to accommodate me as well. The place is nice and clean and friendly. Their prices are great! I always get compliments on my lashes and I will always refer Barbi Lashes if your in Manhattan. Thank you Mia for great lashes

I texted for an appointment the night before and was given several options. Points for easy appointment making. However the "studio" itself is within a hair salon and you can hear all the talking and hair drying going on outside. I usually take a nap when I'm getting my lashes done but was unable to fall asleep because of all the noise. My lash technician was gentle, but offered no communication. I don't recommend this place for newbies

I came here yesterday for a two week refill, and walked away extremely disappointed. The previous time I visited, I got 70 silk lashes per eye, and I was pleased with the result- the lashes were not perfect, but at least there was a good amount and after a week and a half, I still had plenty left. I'm pretty sure walked out of the store yesterday with less than 40 pieces per eye (it's hard to count but I gave it a rough estimate). The lashes look sparse and ridiculous- I had opted for the natural look, not the non-existent one.

The best lash salon in NYC. I love ❤️ Mía she’s the best and she does an amazing job and is very calm and very patient with me and my needs I love my lashes I always only do Barbi Lashes! I was recommended by someone I saw at Sephora I couldn’t believe how beautiful her lashes were they looked amazing. Is the best place in NYC. I came with a Groupon and now I’m a regular. Highly recommended!!!!

Bought a Groupon and just felt like pampering myself that day. Called in the afternoon to see if they would be able to take me later that day after work and they did! I arrived about half an hour early to the appointment and they saw me about 20 minutes later which was fine because I was the one that was really anyways. They weren't super busy but all the beds (4 of them) were being used.
The receptionist asked me whether I had gotten my lashes done before and whether I knew what I wanted. Although I had, the styles and curl types vary from place to place so she gave me a quick rundown.

I came to Barbi before a wedding after purchasing a deal thru Groupon. Barbi has lasted the longest of the few eyelash extension places I've tried. The look of the actual lashes are very natural and nice.
I don't like how when they come off the glue moves up on the lash and sometimes makes the lash itself very apparently bent in the wrong direction. However, after a month a lot are still intact.

VICTORIA is AMAZING!!!! She is a magician, it must be magic, seriously.
Every other artist comments on how they can't make my lashes as full as I want because I have such sparse lashes. Victoria just casually says, "I can do it" and literally performs magic. I have the shortest, sparsest lashes EVER and after I woke up an hour later, I had the fullest lashes that I've ever received. I've gone to 10+ places in my lash history and no one has done it like Victoria. She truly is a gem.

I really wanted to love it here. I was told not to purchase the groupon and thy would honor the price. For some reason it came out more than what I would pay for groupon inlcuding tax. Not a huge deal as it was still pretty reasonable. My lashes looked natural but probably a little too natural. They started falling off after a week or so. The good thing is that they didn't take my natural lash with them which i can always appreciate.

I went here twice because a friend recommended this place. The staff was really nice even though my friends and I were a little late. The first time I asked for C curl and size 10-11-12 (cat eye style). I recommend getting C curl instead of J curl but J curl is not really noticeable at all. Overall, I liked it but it didn't really last that long. It started coming off about a week in only. I went here again since the price was so cheap. I forget how much it was, I think it was around 40-50. The second time I went, I got C curl 11-12-13. But the photo I uploaded it of the C curl 10-11-12.

I had a great experience here & trust me I have been to so many Lash salons! I've never gotten so many complements on my lashes before. Not only that they are holding up WAY longer than I have ever had in the past. I like to run my face under the shower & usually they straight to fall out and I'll find them in random places but it's going on three weeks & they still look amazing!! Im going to make my appointment as soon as they open for a refill! The only thing I will say is the spa is pretty small so with customers coming and going and paying; it's not as quite as I have experienced at other spas

A bit small but they are moving to another location. I've been to a couple of other eyelash places in flushing claiming to be great and left Unsatisfied, this place listened to me when I said I'm going to wedding and need glam. They had patience and were very kind and I freakin LOVEEEE my lashes. They aren't the slightest bit uncomfortable. Will be my new place from now on :)
