Topical clear corneal cataract surgery is a 10-12 minute surgical procedure that reduces the operating and healing time compared to tradition surgical procedures, and usually offers almost immediate improvement in vision. With topical clear corneal cataract surgery, only drops are required to anesthetize the eye before a small incision is made in the cornea of the eye.
Astigmatism is a common type of refractive error that requires glasses or contact lenses to correct. During cataract surgery, this can be corrected with specialized techniques. A Toric Intraocular Lens can be surgically implanted to replace the eye's natural lens that is removed during cataract surgery - treating both the cataract and the astigmatism at the same time.

Agree with all the reviews about rude office staff. My husband had a horrible experience today - as did I when speaking to the office staff on the phone. Was hung up on and treated like dirt when I called back. They do not care - what a shame. Doctors are nice but not worth being treated in a very unprofessional and rude manner by the staff. I hope the doctors see these reviews and they can make some appropriate changes to the office staff.

Liz the office manager is the nastiest, vulgar, uneducated disgraceful thing you can find. She shout over the phone instead of explaining my bill, did not allow me to talk staying, "I don't have time to listen". Wrong poor choice of profession. I still don't understand how this thing of repugnant manager still works at this office. Mine is not the first negative review , I am sure they hare loosing patients to the vulgarity of this manager, and now I understand the poor personal retention at the front desk, a new face every time. I guess she treats everyone the same. After many years I will not

I've only had extremely positive experiences here at the Brown's Eyecare office. All these negative reviews must be from negative uneducated people who go to places of business and think they can control what is said and done regarding their care. Some people think they can self diagnose or have the ability to do billing..it's laughable really. The staff is great and the office manager (Liz) is an absolute pleasure to talk too! Thank you Brown eyecare for your years of service!!!

I've been coming to this office for almost 15 years now. All the doctors are great and there's always an on-call doctor available for after hour emergencies. Dr. Andrew Brown is my go to doctor. Always professional, easy mannered and very caring.
The office management is fine and the doctors make the visit all worth it for me.
