He graduated from New York University School of Medicine. He was the Chief Resident at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City. He is an Associate Clinical Professor at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Mark F. Goldfarb, M.D. is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

I have been seeing Dr. Goldfarb for about a year now with a few visits. He was very nice and thorough however, after one encounter he quickly changed my view of him. I had a very painful stye in my eye and tried to self treat for 2 days. Unfortunately, it turned into the weekend and it got bigger and more painful that I wanted to speak to him about obtaining antibiotics. Because it was ‘on call’ he had no appointments and told me he needed to see me in order to prescribe any medications. When speaking to him over the phone he belittled me going on and on about how I should’ve gone to him

I really want to thank Dr. Goldfarb and his assistant, David, for taking care of my red eye. I can’t thank you enough. I’ve been to many ophthalmologists before, and end up being discouraged because no one can fix my problem. This Doctor is worth the wait. EXCELLENT service from the moment I walked in until I walked out. The front desk was so courteous, polite, and professional. She gave me a same day appointment and I only waited 10 min after I finished the paperwork.
The doctor was so nice, calm, smart, patient, thorough, and answered all my questions without feeling rushed. I felt welcomed and comfortable, which is how every doctor's office should make you feel.

Everyone is very pleasant, however do not plan on being out of there in a timely fashion. I had a 3:00 appointment, was told to come a little late. Didn't end up leaving until 5:00. First I saw a technician then had to wait again to see the doctor. Also, I was not told when I made the appointment that there is a $50 charge for contacts exam. Dr. Goldfarb is very thorough, but if I go back I will try to be his first appointment of the day.

I had an emergency and Dr. Goldfarb was happy to see me the same day. He performed a complete and accurate assessment and referred me to a sub-specialist (which was the perfect call). He contacted the physician and arranged for me to be seen immediately, thus avoiding an ER visit. He took his time answering questions and was very patient. I would highly recommend Dr. Goldfarb as an excellent clinician and a real professional. His staff was courteous and patient.

I had one visit and was kept waiting without apology or updates for two hours. That's the longest any doctor has ever kept me waiting. The lack of concern and patient respect was palpable, unacceptable and will never be repeated. When this character finally showed up I cursed him out loudly and repeatedly and challenged every lie he told me to cover his aberrant behavior and that of his staff. The visit was an utter waste of my time, I have vision problems and he made no attempt to correct them. I will find another Doctor and report him to every medical board I can find.
