I brought a pair of shoes in to get shined before my first day at my new job. Not only were the shoes exceptional but the service was absolutely exquisite. If you're in the tre, go to TSU, or UH, this is where you should take your shoes to get shined to ensure you're interview ready.

I was in a bind as my son needed his shoes shined the morning before his high school homecoming dance. Called Houston Shoe Hospital and they said “no way, you should’ve brought them in yesterday. Um, thanks fir the advice! Started searching the internet and saw Shines’, made a call and was told to come on in. Amazing job on the shoes; my son was super happy and impressed. We even had a few minutes to tour the museum. I’m not going anywhere else in the future. Great place!

After reading through reviews online, I stopped by Mister Shines’ to get a pair of black Oxfords polished. The owner shines the shoes personally, does a great job, and is a lot of fun to talk to while he works. I’ll definitely be back. Be sure to get a tour of the establishment while you’re there!

Mr. Shines greeted me with a smile and welcomed me to his establishment. I dropped off my kids boots. These boots were dry and did not look good at all. I read reviews and decided to try Mr. Shines. I picked up the next day as promised and I was amazed!! I could not believe how they looked. I wish I would of taken a before and after for this post. But here is the after. He also does shoe and handbag repairs. I really enjoyed his small tour of his establishment that he gave me. To be honest I felt my money was well worth it since it goes to the little guy in a big business world. Give him a try

It's simple - go here and get your shoes new again. I also purchased some cedar shoes trees from them. Prices are reasonable and it's clear they are very popular. Don't let the location keep you away - it's an old home/shack and this alarm goes off when you open the front door that takes you back a bit but it's definitely worth it. Go here, bring your shoes, and enjoy them like the day you bought them!

I have visited Mr. Nash's shop twice. On the first visit I had 3 pairs of boots shined and the soles resurfaced. He brought each pair back to life! I could not believe how well they looked afterwards. The second visit I had my leather work tote polished and the straps adjusted. Mr. Nash remove date hardware, and adjusted the straps as requested. He always makes sure you're pleased with the work prior to leaving. I'll continue to drive the 30 minutes to visit his shop for leather repairs in the future!

Excellent experience! This place has a 5 star rating for a reason! My boots were in bad condition so I brought them to Mr. Nash (who has been in business for over 30 years) hoping that he could shine them up and make them look wearable again. I was considering tossing them out but to my surprise, I picked them up a couple hours late (on a busy Friday afternoon to say the least) and they seriously look brand new! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to make their boots look great.

Best spot in town for shoe shine/repair. Everyone in the shop is super friendly. I brought in a pair of my husbands shoes that I wouldn't trust with just anyone - these guys made them look absolutely brand new! Price was reasonable, shoes were ready when we expected, and their attention to detail is superb. One tip: Cash/Check only!

Not just the best in 3rd Ward but the best in the city. Very knowledge and professional business. Not trying to price gouge you or sell you unnecessary things or services. You can have your items cleaned and shined on the spot or left for pickup later. Bring cash though, no credit card machines. Services are worth every penny.

I flew 900 miles from Tucson Arizona with a new pair of Lucchese Boots to be detailed, leather conditioned, and treated with the hands of superior craftsman that bar none exhibit the best know how in footwear care . I will post a photo soon of my new boots after I pick them up before flying back home. I can't wait! Well here they are WOW!
