We are a family-owned and operated, one-stop shop for all your automotive repair needs. Our ASE-Certified Technicians service all makes and models, 1996 and newer, imported and domestic. We also offer a 24 month/24,000 mile nationwide warranty on any repairs performed at our shop. My shop is not like any other shop.

Services
Our top-notch service advisors will consult with you, answering any questions you might have to help you make the best decision regarding repairs, maintenance and up-keep. Free basic code pull: This entails hooking your vehicle up to a basic diagnostic scan tool and writing out codes for you. This does NOT include diagnosing the vehicle.
An appointment guarantees you a spot in the shop for the day. It also allows our techs to prepare for your repair ahead of time and gives our service writer a chance to order parts that might be needed for your repair. Please keep in mind that we are closed on Saturdays and Sundays. If you submit your request for an appointment over the weekend, please request for any day Tuesday through Friday.
Having an estimate on repairs often makes it easier for you to plan ahead. We are more than happy to write up an estimate for you and send it to you via email. Our estimates break the repair prices down for you into parts and labor costs and include taxes. VIN # or License Plate # is required for ALL estimates!

My car's battery got completely drained out two years ago, then last year the car was broken into, so I let my car sit in the parking lot for more than two years. Recently I had to get it repaired to have the registration renewed, and fortunately enough Yost Automotive was willing to accept the task after I failed to fully repair the car on my own and was recommended to send my car there. Jake did a good job for a fair price, and it was good to see my car come back to life.

Came back from a trip and rodents had chewed through some wires in my engine AND the a/c was not working. What a drag! Yost was awesome, though. Service was 10/10. Friendly folks on the phone, saw my car very quickly (within 2 days), emailed a clear and detailed report and estimate, fixed things quickly. I also really appreciate that they keep customers in their lobby to one at a time -- helps me feel safe during COVID. Totally recommend!

I had the transmission light come on in my car and brought it to Yost. They determined that the transmission cooler was leaking and needed to be replaced. Unfortunately, the part was backordered from Honda with no available date. Due to this, I wound up having to have it transferred to the dealership to get a long-term loaner and did not get it repaired with Yost. However, I give them high marks for honesty and professionalism. They explained the problem clearly, did additional checking to try to find the part, gave me tips on how to approach it with Honda and let my car sit on their lot for over

Mark and everyone else at Yost II are absolutely amazing!! I had to take my car in after I was in an accident. My insurance company was being extremely difficult to work with but Mark was very communicative and helpful. He spoke with both me and the insurance company multiple times to sort out my vehicle. He is very good at what he does and helps make these difficult situations much easier. Thank you so much for all your help. I've used Yost for 5 years and will continue to use them!!

Mark and the Yost team are amazing! I have taken my car here for years and have had positive experiences every visit. Living away from my father, who typically does my car maintenance work, was worrisome for me because I needed someone I could trust to work on my car. From my first encounter, I have felt comfortable and trusting of Yost to take care of my car. Cannot recommend enough!

My uncle living in Round Rock recommended this spot and I was immediately comfortable talking to Mark, the jefe of the place.
Mark found quite a lot wrong with my vehicle and I agreed to pay for it because I didn't want to lose my 2001 Toyota Camry.

The most honest and reliable auto repair shop I have ever come across. I like fancy coffees and comfy wait room couches as much as the next guy, but I'd rather take the $100s I've saved at Yost and spend them on other things.
My 2006 Mini Cooper rides like new and simply thrives under the care and TLC that Yost has given it over the past 4 years.
Jake never pulls any punches and tells me the bare truth. He saves me money every way he can. He's respectful of my time. He has funky old Prius loaners. His staff is awesome.

I started to take my car to Yost a few years ago after a family friend in town recommended them to me. Before Yost, I have only had negative experiences with mechanics before. Being a woman, and never being taught about car maintenance, I truly feel these people don't take advantage of the fact that I am a woman. Yesterday was the first time I went into the office during Covid-19, and they take precautions very seriously as well. One customer in the office at a time, mandatory face masks, etc. I have and will continue to spread word of mouth about this place.

Great service from Yost on a used car that I recently bought that had an oil leak. They gave me a detailed assessment after running diagnostics on my car and explained the items that absolutely needed to be fixed, versus those that were "nice to haves". They also gave me a detailed explanation of the work involved in the fix that I agreed to - so overall I felt very confident in the price that I paid, which was great for a first-time car buyer like myself! Very professional and helpful - would recommend!

Had to get my breaks checked and decided to come here. They were incredibly responsive, clear, and straightforward through the whole process.
You'll definitely have to make an appointment, it is also just easier. They were pretty busy so my appointment wasn't even until two days out. But when you make your appointment they get back to you quickly.
My only issue was that my appointment was in the morning. I dropped off my car thinking it would be serviced at said time and went back home for the day. They did not even get to my car until around 3:30pm to then tell me my brakes needed

Found this great repair shop from Muffin Muffler and then checked them out on Yelp, figured I'd give em a try. I'm now done with searching for any other shop. I was fully prepared to spend 1000 bucks on fixing what was the issue with my car. Mark checked out the car, sent me a detailed email with the charges. 400 bucks cheaper than I was thinking. My family and I have been going to years for years. Wonderful family shop, professional, honest, knowledgeable and they stay on top of automotive trends and maintenance improvements. II especially appreciate Yost II, now that I own a Prius.

We have all had bad customer service experiences. But sometimes the experiences are so awful that it shakes you up and makes you wonder how people can be so inconsiderate, unaware, and even spiteful.
Today, one of the owners of Yost Automotive chose to empower management at their location where I was treated so poorly that I decided to not have my car serviced there, and dispowered the manager at their other location who was willing to make things right.
The owner has never met me and did not reach out to me to talk about what happened. Instead she told the manager at the 'good' site

Had another noteworthy experience at Yost II this past week that I had to share.
I brought my Mazda in for some work. Over the course of the service, I heard that Mark - the gentleman in charge - wasn't feeling well.
When I was paying for the service, there was a misunderstanding in the charges. When Mark came out to discuss it with me, he was obviously not doing well. He wasn't his usual smiling self. Even so, he gave me the benefit of the doubt in regard to the charges. Right after that exchange, the poor man went to the hospital!
