We are an independent title insurance/settlement services company, which means we do not participate in any "affiliated business arrangements" or "profit sharing arrangements" with real estate brokers, agents or lenders.

Most transparent and fastest worry-free service I could have ever imagined. They were able to process everything in a record span of 11 days where I have heard other title companies take 30 days. Remortgaging can be such a hassle. We knew it made sense but hated to have to go through all the paperwork as well as find a mortgage agent/broker.

My husband and I found out about ALT when we purchased our home through our realtor. Our experience was great and we decided to use ALT again when we refinanced our mortgage. ALT was responsive to all of our questions within 24 hours, explained things well, and had the cheapest prices for a title company! I have been using Frank, Susan, Donna, Tara, and the whole team for about 8 years now through many many RE transactions. I've dealt with other title companies as well, and I am VERY glad to have had ALT Title. I've never shopped around for Title Insurance since it's a fixed amount. I always went with the Realtor's recommended agency. ALT easily saved me over $700 in the add on costs. Use their online calculator and you will be surprised at how much less then other companies. Just like settling at Realtors office except it's at ALT. Tara and the entire staff were great!

I had a great experience with AltTitle. Their online quote was straightforward and simple. I didn’t had to ask even a single question on that, it was detailed and clear. All the associates Tara, Susan, Jessie were responsive and professional at every level. There were no hidden fees, infact no fees. We had a unique situation and were afraid we wouldn't close on time, yet Frank and his team pulled it all together and were able to get it done. ALT provided great title services at an affordable rate. They were hundreds of dollars less than the firm recommended by my agent and didn't have any frivolous fees. Beware of this company. Very unprofessional company. The document deed transfer they prepared for me had mistakes on it. I asked them to change it and they told me they could not. They asked me to sign a document that would avoid a transfer tax (fraud) and they advised me to just sign it so they can get their $350 even though it had mistakes. I had basic questions about the document and then they said we are not spending anymore time on this, I am going to refuse this transaction and you need to leave. Will not be using this company again. I bought a duplex to live in one side. They never used the correct house/mailing number on anything (since there are two separate numbers on a duplex) even though I sent it to them via email when they asked. I had to change it with the county and everywhere else. They were half an hr late for the close! They inorrectly told the amount due for the home warranty the sellers agreed to pay so we have to ask them to write another check. They were clueless about security deposit interest. Not worth the headaches!

I had the pleasure of working with ALT Title during my recent home purchase in Conshohocken, PA. The settlement went very smoothly, with ALT coordinating the time and location, and ensuring that all parties arrived on time. Frank was very thorough and informative through the entire process, taking me step-by-step through the settlement documents and explaining the purpose and importance of each. I have been warned about ripoffs and hidden fees at settlement. I was the buyer at this settlement with ALT. in a no mortgage situation.
From my first phone call to the email follow ups after closing, the people at ALT were totally professional and helpful through the whole experience. They answered my many questions and helped to eliminate a phoney charge the seller's realtor wanted to collect from me.
They charged me exactly what PA dictates and NOTHING more--no conveyencing fees, no notary fees, no office use fees, no deed recording fees or any other invented fee of any kind.
