FoamRecycle
EPS is the white beaded foam mostly used as packaging material around furniture, electronic and packages received, food shipping boxes and medicine coolers. We accept drop off only on weekdays: Monday & Thursday from 10:00am to 4:30pm, no drop offs on Saturday or Sunday. We charge $5 per large foam cooler/box, $2-$3 for smaller cooler, paid in cash at drop off.

If you represent a company and have large quantity of foam for recycling, please call us to discuss and to receive a quote. We developed a cost effective high-efficient process and methods for recycling your excess waste scrap foam. Our company holds the 3 keys for successful recycling: transportation, storage and processing capabilities.
Services
If you are working on projects involving foam, or if you receive large quantities of products wrapped in packaging foam, then you are probably left with lots of scraps which you need to dispose of. Companies and residents now have an address for recycling their foam: Drop off your scrap excess foam at our Sunnyvale location, making room for your new foam projects.
There seems to be a common misconception that EPS foam cannot be recycled, when in fact is can be done and with different types of recycling machinery. The three most common methods for recycling Styrofoam are shredding, compacting and melting the foam. A shredder is commonly used when the foam will be further used as filler for toys and furniture or as a building material.

This is a great option for those looking to go the extra mile and not fill the landfills with foam. I filled my SUV to the ceiling with styrofoam and they were able to take all of it.

My second time coming here! Both staff on the phone and in person are very friendly and courteous, and offer super reasonable pricing. They take cash only, so recommend you call ahead to get an estimated cost, but based on my visits they will verbally estimate higher just in case.
I receive medication that must be refrigerated every 2 weeks, so as you can imagine it adds up pretty quickly. But I let it pile up until I can make a trip out, and feel much better paying a small fee to avoid my coolers ending up in the landfill! I remember initially having to look around quite a bit to find a place

Come on, 10$ to pay for dropping of a 30gl bag of styrofoam, ridiculous.
