Loose teeth can be a sign of bone and gum disease and other oral health problems that may lead to tooth loss and damage of the supporting structure and bone. Even perfectly healthy teeth will move a fraction of a millimeter. This is because the roots are not fused tight to the jaw bone. Our teeth are connected to our jaw bone by a periodontal ligament.
Sore and painful gums should not be ignored. If you have bleeding gums, set up an appointment for an oral evaluation with your doctor as soon as possible. Many people believe that their gums bleed because they have flossed their teeth too vigorously, thus cutting their gums. However, bleeding and swollen or puffy gums can be caused by factors far more serious.
Bad breath can be a result of poor dental hygiene but can also be a sign of other health problems. Do you still have bad breath after brushing and flossing? Poor dental hygiene habits could be the cause of the malodor, but you could also be suffering from a more serious health problem. If you suffer from halitosis, it is important to identify the cause of your bad breath in order to treat it properly.
It has been estimated that 75% of Americans have some form of periodontal disease which can be linked to serious health complications and causes dental problems that are avoidable. It has been estimated that three fourths of the U.S. population has some form of gum or bone disease, and these diseases affects other systemic health conditions like diabetes, heart disease, osteoporosis, and some forms of cancer.
Taking good care of your mouth does more than help ensure you have a bright, white smile. Having a healthy mouth and healthy body go hand-in-hand! Bone & gum disease is the number one cause of tooth loss in U.S. adults and has been linked to an increased risk for serious health complications. Studies have shown that your oral health is directly linked to your overall health.

Today I called and spoke with Sharon regarding my refund. Literally calmly and everything. She literally began to yell and scream at me once again. Stating “it’s always something.” Then advised I’ll get my refund when I get it PERIOD. DO NOT CALL BACK. Then I called back and she forwarded my call to voicemail. I then advised the call was recorded and that I have no choice but to believe that she treats me the way she does due to my race because I have never been rude to her, yet anytime I have any questions she very disrespectful. I’m soooo upset because I’ve never experienced anyone

I am looking forward in going back in 2wks time to get my peridiontal treatment.

I was a transfer patient from another Dr. and Dr. Tibbetts and his staff were awesome. This was my first visit with them and they made me feel like I had been coming there for a long time. From the Front Desk with Melissa, to Sally the Hygenist who cleaned my teeth to Dr. Tibbetts who went over everything with me. Awesome, Awesome .
