The team at Silvano does incredible work! They've taken off-the-rack jackets and pants and made them fit like bespoke for me.
I no longer trust the complimentary alterations offered when I buy off-the-rack - it almost always costs me more in time and frustration. I just bring it to Silvano and they get it right every time.
Can't recommend them highly enough!

These guys are miracle workers- I took a beautiful, expensive suit here that every other tailor in the city told me to throw out: it had been ravaged by moths and had four largish holes in the back and shoulder. The suit needed to be rewoven rather than simply altered and I was told these guys were the only ones in the city up to the task. Expensive -- but cheaper than a new suit -- completely worth it!

Silvano is great! I needed a long skirt hemmed and taken in (for a fancy event) and he did a very beautiful job. He walked me through the process and explained everything. Super friendly, great customer service, very patient.

This place just opened up 2 weeks ago and I came across it when searching yelp for a tailor near my office. I had a flight only a couple of hours away and needed a new pair of jeans and blazer tailored immediately. I called a few other tailors and they said no way, but when I called these guys they said "absolutely!". The service was impeccable and the quality of their work was first rate. And when I got there, I also saw the beautiful custom suits and clothing they do as well. I will most certainly be back for my next suit and all my alterations. A top notch tailor in midtown manhattan
