The bqq meats are pretty good. The drinks were bad, they tasted like straight mixer. The bloody mary might look good but the flavor was straight tomato juice. The brisket was excellent. The sandwiches fell apart on us though because the buns were soggy.

Glad we stopped here early in our trip so we could come a second time. Stepping out of the car and smelling the smoker, we knew it was a good start to our stay. The crab Rangoon, pork belly, shrimp and chorizo tacos, cantaloupe lime refresher, coconut mojito, background music and friendly staff are a must! Open air seating, with the ability to close up the windows for wind and rain cover, makes this a great location, rain or shine. Visit with Dave for some beautiful artwork. .

I give this one 5 stars because it hits all the notes for me. Great food & drinks, menu variety, great service, reasonable price, fun & mellow live music.
We had a party of 6, got seated right away in a Friday night (5:30) when Sunset grill had a 2 hour wait. Everyone got something different. Signature cocktails were $11, but worth it.
Chefs specials leaned towards Cuban style. Great sushi menu, excellent ribs, smoked fish dip was awesome, fish variety was better than most places with bbq swordfish & atlantic salmon on the menu. Great ambiance, on the water & our bill was ~ 170

Not a good bbq place. Overdone ribs and mediocre sides. Heard they have other things that are tastier so won't give them a one star. Doubt I'll be back

First and foremost: that fried key lime pie is the best I tried in all of the keys. So flavorful and tangy - I definitely want to go try a non-fried piece, too. It was fried but still cold in the center. Very yummy.

Food and drinks are comparable to a lot of good restaurants in the keys - lots of seafood options, very tasty and fresh.

All seating is outside - huge plus for me wanting to be outdoors to enjoy the nice weather. (In Covid times, it's good, too).

They have live music every night. It was loud and hard to talk - I probably wouldn't have gone if I had known that.

We sadly weren't impressed, we walked in and stood in front of the host stand for a good 5 min before anyone acknowledged us, even though they were right there having a conversation. My husband ordered a bbq sandwich and said it reminded him of those refrigerated bbq microwave dishes you find at the grocery store. I ordered the lobster tacos hoping for local Florida lobster and it tasted like frozen Maine lobster. Some of the pieces were a bit... off... tasting as well so I'm glad I didn't get sick. I'm 99% sure the tostones were the frozen Goya brand ones. The drinks weren

Cute little spot on Marathon near the docks. The open air seating reminds you that you're in the tropics. The smell of BBQ gets your appetite going and the food does not disappoint. While I've had better BBQ, it was a treat to have some with vacationing in Marathon. The service was very friendly.

We tried to get takeout, keyword, tried. We called in and ordered, then got there 20 mins later, and when we went to pick it up 20 mins after that, they'd "lost our order". Re-ordered, and then 40 mins later picked it up. We were tired of waiting in the parking lot, so went home. When we got home (10 min ride), our food was cold and gross. Pulled pork and ribs were tough and weird, sauce was strange, and the mozzarella sticks (hard to mess up mozz sticks, right? wrong) were...edible, sure.

Waste of a lot of money for the ribs and pork, definitely. Only recommend going for the meat

Great place for dinner. Laid back atmosphere, and great food. Reasonable price for drinks on the happy hour menu, and a meal for two can be easily had for under 50 bucks with drinks and tip. Crab cakes are delicious.

I can't speak to the food because it never arrived. We walked in at 10:59 AM; breakfast ends at 11 so we ordered lunch. The first bad sign was six tables of hungry-looking people with no food. Their food came out VERY SLOWLY, maybe one table every ~8 minutes. 45 minutes went by after ordering with no apologies, no updates, nothing. They were clearly accepting more breakfast orders after 11 and wanted to get all those done before they worked on lunch, leaving us high and dry. When the people next to us (who walked in 10 minutes after us) got their breakfast, we got up and left, hungry

Porkys is solid. Their staff is very friendly. The one thing to point out is that if you have a peanut or fish allergy your options are limited. According to the staff, everything fried is made in peanut oil. My daughter is one of those peanut/fish allergic people so we spent a lot of time trying to decide what to get.
Everyone talks about the fried key lime pie. Definitely different. It's not a must try though. Other than that the food was good. We all enjoyed.

I understand that people's taste may be different but when they bring you gray guacamole and a tuna appetizer that was marinated in sriracha because it wasn't fresh didn't give me the warm and fuzzies.

When researching which places have the best key lime pie in Key West, I stumbled upon this spot which is serving a fried key lime pie.
Now it's not in Key West, but it's the perfect stop on your way to or from Key West.
We only got the fried key lime pie and it was my favorite version of the 5 we tried. The filling was tangy which is how I want it to be. I loved the little bit of crunch that was added by it being fried.
If you're also in search of key lime pie in the keys, don't skip this spot!

My review is solely on Porky's Famous Fried Key Lime Pie. It is excellent. I love the crunchy, fried crispy bits that compliment the tart yet sweet key lime pie. It was a pleasant surprise and a unique experience.

You *have* to try their fried Key Lime pie. They also a good selection of pulled pork & chicken sandwiches to pair IPA's. It was conveniently located next to Captain Pip's so we tried it for dinner. Nice and relaxed, casual atmosphere where you might catch a hint of a classic Alan Jackson or Kenny Chesney song playing in the background during your meal.

It's a hit with the locals.

First time here, we drove from Islamorada to try it! We ordered the seafood alfredo pasta, jambalaya, and fried snapper. We got fried pickles, and alligator bites for appetizers! Everything was awesome, especially the fried pickles chips! I try fried pickles anywhere I go and I was specifically searching for places in the Keys that had them. The plaintains were cooked perfectly. The least enjoyed dish was the jambalaya but it was still good. We liked the high top seating area right on the marina, we were the only ones sitting there & it was nice!

So, I studied the reviews on this place extensively and they're either really bad, or really good. I noticed, admittedly without doing a deep-dive analytics of the data, that most of the better reviews were for breakfast; so I went for breakfast.

It did not disappoint!

Now, one sign says they open at 7:00, another says 8:00. In reality they open when they damn well please which is why I gave them 4-Stars instead of 5.

We were allowed to sit down while we waited for the employees to show up and sometime closer to 8:30, placed our order. The corned-beef hash did not disappoint nor did

We traveled to the keys with a group of 11 and 4 members of the group wanted to go parasailing. The check-in point for the parasailing was adjacent to Porky's so a few of us went to Porky's for lunch and cocktails while waiting for the parasailing group to return. We are very glad that we did. Our server was phenomenal and the food was fantastic. The restaurant was so great that when our group was done parasailing we took them back to the restaurant so they could have lunch and cocktails as well. Try the fried Key Lime pie. Yummo.

BREAKFAST: we did not go here for lunch or dinner, so I can’t speak to that but breakfast was terrible.
The photos might look good, but there was ZERO flavor in the shrimp and grits. I’m no chef, but I have prepared better at home. Maybe this was just not their best dish, but it was also served COLD. My dad, husband and I all got the same thing and each was cold. My 4 year old ordered pancakes which were good. I ask for the side of “fresh fruit” on the menu for $4.99 and they brought a bowl full of sliced bananas. I assumed it would be mixed fruit. My boy is not a fan of bananas so I asked

Wow! Super friendly and attentive wait/bar staff! The owner is incredibly competent, savvy, and genuinely interested in her guests' experience. Of course I wouldn't have mentioned any of this if the food wasn't also terrific. When you're in the Keys, Porky's Bayside provides the perfect atmosphere for this part of Florida!

Fantastic breakfast! I have no idea why this place wasn't crowded for breakfast. They have lobster, Mahi, and shrimp... on their breakfast menu! The waiter was kind enough to honor my request for "Mahi Benedict" which was fantastic, and the bloody Mary was very tasty. Good view of a small marina, open air restaurant. We will definitely return

Not wanting to chance that Porky's wouldn't have their fried key lime pie during breakfast hours, we stopped at night on our way back from Key West for fried key lime pie and again the next morning for breakfast before leaving the Florida Keys. For breakfast I ordered the key lime French toast with a side of grilled Mahi and my wife ordered the gourmet challah French toast with banana added on top.

Porky's fried key lime pie was the third fried pie we tried in the Keys and, compared to the others, it's clearly in third place. Maybe it was the oil it was fried in, but the breading
