I purchased Cavity Sliders pocket door frame from here. They are currently on backorder from the manufacturer but Dreyer's Lumber had them in stock. I drove about 3 hours from York Pennsylvania to pick them up. I was very happy that Russell set them aside for me so i could come get them on my day off.. I always like to support local stores than big box stores when ever possible. Everyone here was very helpful and knowledgeable about the product. The store also had a large selection of tools, other hardware and such. The store was also very clean, neat and organized. Most lumber/ hardware stores

I've been here a few times and have also had them deliver to my house, always a satisfactory experience. This is my go to place for lumber, they always have specialty softwoods that I needed for exterior projects that I can't find at big box stores and the prices are competitive if not better than other independent lumber yards.

Great place, they stock a lot of millwork and hardware that is hard to find elsewhere. Their prices are fair. They may not beat the Depot but they have much better lumber and millwork and when it comes to directly comparable items (tools, kreg & GRK screws, etc) they are so close I'd rather get everything from them (really less than 5% difference if there is one and better selection for many things).

My experience with Dreyers was awful. I am a builder and worked with them on a new kitchen for a house in New Providence. The kitchen cabinets/trim (by Fabuwood) were 3 different colors of white. When I contacted Dreyers they were rude, unhelpful and tried to put it all on me to get my contractors to fix the problem. At one point when I told Dave Lugara, the "designer" that I was not going to fix their problem he even hung up on me!!!

If you are female and looking to shop for doors on the second floor showroom don’t bother. I was the only customer on the floor, three guys up front at the circular desk area, I asked where the interior doors were located and he pointed behind him... that way. Looked at doors for 20 minutes and was completely ignored by all of them. They make it hard to shop local - now I am headed to a big box store to purchase doors for my remodel.

These Guys ROCK!
I was asked if I needed help at every turn. They were friendly and courteous, maybe these other customers (who wrote negative reviews) were the ones with the attitude? I had never been there before, and stumbled on it as I was following my GPS to another hardware store nearby. So I stopped in and I'm glad I did. They helped me pick out the little bit of wood I needed for my project AND EVEN CUT IT FOR ME at a nominal charge. They had the hardware I needed, and brackets I was looking for... they even cut me some keys while I was shopping.
