The staff was friendly and capable. The work was done timely. I rate three stars because the cost was very high. $794 to replace a starter is more than twice what I expected.
I researched three other places who quoted between $300 and $500
I found multiple quotes for a starter at under &100
So, I am feeling that the price was well high. And a five year warranty on an 8 year car is not much consolation

Springdale has serviced our cars for the past few years. Every time, true professionalism, and honest discussion. We've been very pleased, but even more so recently as the team performed a brake fluid service, which unfortunately caused an issue with my brakes after I left. When I got the car back, the team immediately admitted fault, fixed everything needed at no additional charge and even mentioned a free oil change on my next visit to make up for things. I'm not saying this to report bad service, but rather the professionalism and honesty to make it all good, and then go above and beyond. I

I used this company to repair a brake issue when my usual mechanic had to close his shop because of covid last year. Springdale installed the new parts and when I drove it off the lot my brake pedal was loose, moving laterally when I applied pressure. The repair was also quite expensive based on information I found after the fact. I lived with it for a year, but finally decided that I couldn’t tolerate it and took it back. I had to take it back to another shop because the one I used closed. They said there was nothing that could be done. They also told me I refused a part last year making it

I always try to support local whenever possible and I would highly recommend Springdale Automotive for any repairs and maintenance that your vehicle might need. The staff is super friendly, extremely attentive and accommodating. We received progress updates throughout via text messages and phone calls. Superb communication! The work was completed promptly and performed by an experienced and professional mechanic, and the parts/services that were needed were priced reasonably. My auto mechanic retired, so I obtained referrals for a new mechanic. I had several referrals & after reviewing & comparing I chose Springdale!! My car has many miles, needed varied services for which they have done. Springdale was professional, accommodating, communication updates & thanks to Brandy & Dale for that extra attention diagnosing my car AND the Warranty is the best!! I was traveling and my car broke down on the highway, I had to wait several hours for a tow truck and I arrived 5 minutes after closing. They were very nice to take care of me and check my car in even after they were closed on a Friday. They completed a very detailed inspection and found the issue. I had my car towed back home for repairs but I would recommend Springdale Automotive! They are extremely nice and very caring.
