At Eye Spy Vision Care Optometry, our goal is to promote good eye health and enable you to have the clearest vision possible. We accept several types of vision insurance, cash, checks, and most credit cards. We inform our Napa patients about exam and treatment costs at the beginning of your appointment.

Dr. Mahaphon and staff are absolutely incredible. The technology she has to check children’s vision along with adult is so outstanding. The difference in the way Dr. Mahaphon spoke with my child and myself shows true ability to adjust herself to her patient. My entire family goes to see her eye care. Truly locally top notch.

I love coming here for my yearly eye exam. From the moment you're greeted until you see Dr. Tanya Mahaphon, Eye Spy is a class act. Of the many upsides the office is located in downtown Napa and has a decent amount of parking. Plus its super close to my house so if I need my eyes dilated I can easily walk home.
Dr. Mahaphon has amazing bedside manner. Not only is she a blast to chat with on a personal, but she knows her stuff. She also takes the time to carefully listen to any problems you've been having. Trust me, that alone seems to be lost with todays get 'em in get 'em

Cannot say enough good things about Dr. Tanya! She ALWAYS goes out of her way to make sure that you are comfortable with your contacts!
My husband even had something in his eye and she was kind enough to see him the same day and help remove it! She is just the best and goes above and beyond for her patients. We love Eye Spy!

The 2 hour drive is still worth it! We just figured out that seasonal allergies were making it nearly impossible for me to wear my monthly contacts for more than a day. I made a weekend trip to see her and she got me into daily contacts and allergy medicine. And just like that, the problem was solved!! Incredible!

The doctor is amazing, but the receptionist Marlene is so awful and unpleasant. I've been having issues with my eyes, and my appointment this week will be my 5th to get my contacts prescription. The doctor is kind and very thorough, however the receptionist is just miserable. She is so rude both on the phone and in person and makes it so difficult to make an appointment. I wish I could afford to give up on getting my prescription finished here and just go somewhere else. I've been trying to get my prescription for over a month now. Every time the doctor orders new contacts for me to try

Love the Dr but my recent experience with ordering a pair of prescription sunglasses has been very irritating and frustrating. When I placed my order for my sunglasses I was told it would take 2 weeks. I gladly paid upfront because I had a number of upgrades I wanted for the lenses. In a few more days I will have been waiting for 6 weeks. I call every week asking for an update and each time I'm told something different. First it was the frames must have been on backorder, they said they would look into and call me back. I never got a call back. When I finally did get a call I was told they

I am sure the doctors are amazing; however, I tried to get my son an appointment for 6 weeks! Each time I called it was one excuse or another, get a referral, we need paperwork, we do not take your insurance. I sent all requested paperwork and offered to pay for all appointments up front. Still not scheduled, very frustrating process!

I consistently have a wonderful experience at Dr. Mahaphon's office. I eagerly recommend her to anyone that asks. She is thorough in her exam and endlessly helpful in making eye care affordable by recommending changes to your insurance, using rebates, and working with you in your financial situation. She is kind and personable. The folks in her office are also quite sweet.
