Dr. Kent is a native Californian and graduated from the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. He has practiced dentistry on the Monterey Peninsula for over 30 years. In 2013 he was awarded Dentist of the Year by the Monterey Bay Dental Society, was elected to serve as their President for 2017, and has served as the Chairman of the Peer Review Board for the Society for over 8 years.

Dr. Kent just repaired several small chips and the start of some cracking on my front center lower tooth. His skill is amazing, and the result feels just like my original tooth.

Dr. Kent has been my dentist for over a quarter century. His staff is uniformly kind, caring, and competent. I have my teeth cleaned every 6-9 months, so over an almost 30-year period I have been there almost fifty times. I have been fortunate to have few problems with my teeth (I chose my parents well), so Dr. Kent has only had to drill on three occasions. However

Best dental office I've ever been to! Every single person in the office knows your name, feels like a group friends not at all like a place where you go to get mouth torture. While I am very fortunate to have dental insurance coverage, there had been times in my life where I didn't. That they have plans and assistance programs for those less fortunate, makes me feel good to support their business.

Doctors Kent and Seltzer are the most professional and personable dentists I have ever worked with and had care. They are amazing when it comes to working out the best options for remedying or caring for your teeth and smile. Their leadership and joyful attitudes permeate across the entire staff and anyone who walks into the office knows immediately they are in capable and competent hands. Compassionate, caring, careful = 3 Cs make an A+ grade for Dr. Kent and his staff. I feel SO grateful that he is my dentist. His hallmark is that he listens to you, the patient. Together you work out a treatment plan that will accomplish what YOU want, and then he sticks to that plan. It is a real plus that everyone in the office is just plain nice, through and through.

Quick, informative, helpful. I enjoy--as much as one can enjoy a dental appointment--coming to Dr. Kent's office. Britta was my hygienist, and she is always thorough and very professional. She has a quiet, soothing manner, which is wonderful and surprisingly restful while in the dentist's chair. Great work.

I would like to address the first review by Dr. Gordon Choo Phd. Dr. Kent has never had a patient by this name. Please look at all the other 5 star reviews on the web, and consider this other unbalanced review to be fraudulent. Dr. Kent is a very kind, caring, professional dentist with high integrity and ethics. His staff is very professional and cares about the patients and their comfort. I highly recommend Dr. Kent and his staff to my family and friends. His dentistry is top notch and he stands behind his work.
