We believe that the preschool years are an enchanted time in a child's life where imagination and creativity should be cherished. We believe that children thrive when they are given many opportunities to go outside, get dirty and have adventures.
Studies have shown that simply having contact with dirt, whether it's through gardening, digging holes, or making pies out of mud, can significantly improve a child's mood and reduce their anxiety and stress.Who knew, right? They reinforce creativity, and for children to discover learning at their own pace.

Early childhood experts agree that play provides a foundation for learning and later academic success. Based on the principles of active learning and positive interactions with adults and peers. Children express themselves through the arts such as painting, drawing, constructing, and creative dramatics as a way to make sense of their world.
At the Little Farm Preschool children will be engaged in exciting learning activities that balance their social, emotional, and intellectual needs by actively exploring, discovering, and creating through a play-based curriculum. Through authentic play based learning activities; children will have opportunities to try out new ideas and behaviors in their own unique, concrete and hands-on ways.

Being new to the Maple Valley area, we were unsure where to begin our preschool search. When we found out about and then made a visit to The Little Farm Preschool in July, we were beyond happy that they had a spot for our daughter; we knew this was exactly where we wanted her to learn and grow. This was her first year outside of family care and she thrived. Each day, Ms. Margo, Ms, Chrissy, and Ms. Krista show the kids they care and that learning should be hands on and fun. Safety is a high priority and lots of attention goes into meeting the needs and interests of each child. We will miss this

Lani was one of the first students at Little Farm preschool. We met Miss Margo by chance at Lake Wilderness park. We we're so blessed that day. We called the next day and went to visit the school. If you want your child to experience life in preschool with hands on experiences including planting seeds and watching their garden grow to finding little bugs and butterflies on their beautiful school ground to helping fed the goats...this preschool will not disappoint. If I could I would rate it ten stars. Miss Margo and Miss Christy not only taught Lani through music, reading stories, dancing and interacting

My granddaughter has gone to the Little Farm Preschool in Maple Valley for three years. I couldn't be happier with the care shown towards all of the students by the teachers, Miss Margo and Miss Chrissy, and their thoughtful attitude regarding curriculum. I know my granddaughter is well prepared socially and academically ready for kindergarten!

The Little Farm Preschool has been everything we were looking for in a preschool. I love there teaching structure. I feel they genuinely care for the kids. We had some separation problems with my daughter but Miss Chirssy and Miss Margo worked with us every way they could. I would reccomend them if you are looking for a preschool for your little.

My son has come such a long way in just 1 year with these amazing teachers. He has such love now for learning, friendship, outdoors, animals, exploration and imagination. Thank you ladies for all of your hard work and dedication to each student.

This is my oldest sons second year at Little Farm and we absolutely love it. My middle son is already registered for next year. The teachers are caring, engaging and intuitive. Every time I drive up the driveway to school, I'm reminded how amazing the location is. I wish I could attend Little Farm! My oldest son loves to build and they have helped facilitate his interests as well as introduce him to new skills. We will be attending Little Farm as long as possible.

I am so thankful that we found this amazing preschool! My daughter is just finishing her first year and absolutely loves going to school each day. She has learned so much academically, socially, and physically. The teachers at the Little Farm are thoughtful, caring, and really tailor learning to your child’s needs. I love the atmosphere of this school because the kids not only learn in the classroom, but get to spend so much time outside, with animals, etc. I’m excited to get to spend another year at Little Farm for pre-k.

Two out of my soon to be three kids have attended / currently attend. This school is a great balance and transition from home to school. They love learning. They teach the kids to love learning and being curious. I feel so good knowing my kids are with teachers who love them and want to teach them to be passionate about learning.
