Tierra De Lobos Winery is small operation from Dallesport Washington with a tasting room in The Dalles Oregon. Our winery is a 500sqf converted garage and is operated by 2 wolves, Adolfo and Gabino, with an annual production of 500 to 1000 cases depending on inventory and storage space. The dream started in 2012 as we looked to get out of the rainy Pacific Northwest and found ourselves a little piece of heaven on the dryer side of the Cascades.
The land already had 3 acres of established grapes but we saw an opportunity to be more than just growers. And while we're not certified organic, we aim to treat our land with respect and refrain from using any chemicals or fungicides in our vineyard. At Tierra De Lobos, we love to showcase the true characters and flavors of each grape varietal and so our goal is to make wines as purely as possible with minimal intervention or additives.

Wolves are fearless creatures. Regardless of the situation, they don't let anyone intimidate them. If you are highly courageous and stay unique to yourself, then you are truly a wolf. This club is for those wolves that don't let anyone tell them what to drink, because you get to choose your own wines.
A delicious fruit forward stainless-steel Chardonnay with notes of tropical and stone fruits and a silky finish. Pair it with smoked salmon, turkey, or soft cheeses! This luscious wine offers notes of strawberry, cherry and peach skin with a refreshing tart finish. Our signature non-vintage red blend, this flavorful and easy drinking wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, and Merlot.

We just enjoyed a tasting of their new Chardonnay with very tasty sliders. We also had a glass of Tinto Dulce, which is a sweeter red mix: and a full glass of the Chardonnay. Wonderful. I was still craving their rustic bread, melted Brie, and roasted garlic. The brie and bread went well with the Tinto Dulce. I found the brie rind absolutely delicious with the garlic and Chardonnay!
We learned that their sliders were made with a delicious bun and cheese sourced from another business, but the combination of stone ground mustard, caramelized onions, pickle, and beef were their own delicious combination

Fantastic, friendly service, including a firepit to take the chill off the more-windy moments on the patio, and very-innovative wines (the 2017 Malbec is my favorite, available only to club members). Every seat has a stunning view of the Gorge. Grapes are grown across the Columbia River in Dallesport, in a valley that allows them to ripen more slowly. The tasting room has been in business since 2018, and is located in a new housing development of upscale homes that also has a cutting-edge medical and fitness facility.

Wonderful little tasting room. Had to come out here for the day and decided to lodge nearby, checked Tierra De Lobos out and was not disappointed in the slightest. The staff is wonderful and welcoming and the wine and food is excellent. Definitely take time to stop by if you are in The Dalles, you won’t regret it.

So happy we stopped in the Dalles on our way back to Portland! Adolpho was the BEST owner/host and made our tasting much more personable and enjoyable. You can tell they put a lot of care and pride into their wine! We left with 3 bottles (Barbara, rose, and Cab Franc) - can't wait to open them! The views and location can't be beat - right on the river! Stop here and try the wine! I LOVE that you can pay per individual wine tasting (which is not normal).

What a wonderful gem for wine tasting on the Columbia. Beautiful views, but the wine is the real reason to stop in, of course. The Barbera in particular was too good not to buy 3 bottles. What made the experience extra special was the many locals who dropped in for their personal events. Truly local and loyal to The Dalles and The Gorge.

Tierra De Lobos Winery is the best! Their tasting room has an amazing view of the water and bridge. They have the option for us to sit outside or inside depending on the weather that day. Their wines are amazing too - Barbera is my absolute favorite and can never get enough of. All staff is fun and great to talk to, and very helpful to find your favorite wine(s) to take home. And their sangria is so good and refreshing on a warm day. I can't say enough great things about Tierra De Lobos, they're the best!

I've been so impressed by this winery and tasting room! The tasting room has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the staff is always kind and the food was delicious.
The wine is so unique to the region, there really isn't anything comparable. I've also used their wine delivery service and have never been disappointed. They always take care of me. Wonderful wine and kind folks.

Outstanding experience. Exceptional owner driven winery. We were delighted with each of the wines we tasted. Unique representations of the local terroir and playful experiments with the style. The tasting room itself is cozy with beautiful views of the water. Hard to pick a favorite, but we really liked their take on the Rose (Rubi) and the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon. Definitely recommend you stop by enjoy!

What a lovely find! We stumbled on this tasting room while on a day trip, and although there was a private party going on in the other room, we were treated to a very pleasant time tasting wine and talking with the wine maker. All of the wines were delicious, and the warm brie with roasted garlic was a perfect pairing. We'll come back!

I have been following Tierra De Lobos' exciting journey for a while. From farmers markets and harvest season to now having a beautiful tasting room. They have a wine for everyone whether you like sweet, dry, bold or blends. My favorite right now is the Lobo Noble, a reserve blend. Amazing views, amazing wine, everyone must go and enjoy!
