Rude and lack of customer service is thrash just like their confederate flags throughout store. I walked in and once I approached them they continued speaking. Mid 30-40 y/o employee raised eyebrows and asked, “do you need something?”. I promptly stated, “hello!” (like a normal human being) and that I was seeking a kayak. Older man besides him decides to chuckle sarcastically as if I asked them a stupid question. The sign outside their door specifically states they sell kayaks and canoes. I walked out immediately and everyone else should too. Not one of them said anything as I did and/or

Bought a surplus steel pot helmet and an Israeli civilian gas mask. When I asked where the helmet was from his response was "i have no idea" I then purchased the gas mask and asked what size it was too which he responded "i don't know" well it turns out I bought a child size mask and it is useless to me. I called to tell them and they said well we only have the one size. We can't control what we get it is what it is. They need to at least have a knowledge of what they are selling. I'm drill trying to figure out what helmet I bought. The service is horrible and they knew literally nothing about

We purchased a kayak from Beacon last weekend and our experience was very positive. Chris was extremely helpful, from giving us an overview of the different models to helping us secure our new kayak to the roof rack of our car. We were very happy we chose to make the drive to Beacon. We may be back soon to buy a second kayak.

The customer service is disgusting!!! We walked in and didn't even get acknowledge by the owner, so rude and disrespectful. How does he pay the rent with no customers? Because we were the only ones there. He needs to be put out of business. If I could give no stars I would. By the way, we were all in our Army uniforms. We will never come back
