Popovsky Performing Arts Studio was launched in 2007 as Popovsky Studios in East Petersburg, Pa. The studio was founded with the purpose of helping young singers to develop both in technique and performance ability while engendering their love of the art. In 2008, the studio began offering semi-annual recitals in order to provide the students regular performance experiences.

My daughter and I love being a part of the PPAS community. She's participated in both summer camps and weekly evening classes throughout the school year. There are plenty of options for days, times and classes that interest your child. The prices are reasonable, class sizes are kept small and they have fun! Summer camps are a great opportunity for learning what it's like to participate in a full production from start to finish.

My children have participated in private and group lessons and summer camp for just over a year at PPAS. We are so happy with their experience there. The instructors are top-notch professionals with great teaching skills. Their approach adapts to be age-appropriate for the student or group. Fairly soon after the quarantine started, we adjusted to lessons over video call fairly seamlessly. Since re-opening started, PPAS has been 100% vigilant about safety precautions. I feel completely comfortable sending my children there because they are following the advice of medical experts and scientists to

Upon taking a wonderful beginners acting class with a beautiful passionate teacher that took me to heights and displaying outwardly talents held unkowningly inside. All in a group setting that was powerful yet intimate. Honestly it became as much of a theraputic release and a social dynamics toolkit as well as a fantastic affordable awesome introduction to stage and craft. I will be returning for the best money I have ever spent I feel almost like I'm in on some insider trading or some nefarious act do to the price that is a dream come true for anyone interested in career or self improvement!!

My son took an intro improv class at PPAS about a year ago and he couldn't wait to get back to another acting class. He's so excited when Tuesday comes around so he can attend his class and then can't stop talking about the wonderful activities they did in class. So thankful we have an organization like this right in our community!

Oh my goodness! Music Together has been a huge blessing to our family! When we adopted our son at age 2.5, he was speech delayed (including his native language). We watched him blossom through music! Some of his first words said were actually SUNG! Miss Christyn was a wonderful teacher & a huge blessing to us.

I've been taking my two children to Music Together since January of 2018. The experience has been amazing! Christyn Rutter is a wonderful and engaging teacher and you can tell she truly loves working with the young children.
My 2.5 year old son had a bad speech delay and the music classes built up his confidence and increased his language skills within a couple of weeks.
The class is a great bonding experience for families and a wonderful way to expose babies and preschoolers to all types of music. We all look forward to class and love that we are given song books and CD's to enjoy the music

My experience was very disappointing. I took my daughter for her first session and was referred to an ENT because my daughter’s voice is raspy (has been since she starting talking, she is now 7) I was told they wanted to make sure she didn’t have any nodules or any other issues. I was told that once we confirmed, we could continue lessons accordingly. I went to the ENT, spent hundreds of dollars on testing, emailed the voice coach the information ( no nodules) and videos she requested and she never got back to me. The disappointing part is that they weren’t honest about not wanting to work
