The Trust Performing Arts Center exists to honor God by encouraging excellence in the work of student and professional artists and by enriching our community through inspiring, challenging, and redemptive experiences. In 1912, Lancaster's largest bank, the Lancaster Trust Company, finished construction on its new downtown headquarters.
Sparing no expense in the process, the Lancaster Trust Company built one of the region's most stunning buildings, a Beaux-Arts masterpiece from the imagination of Lancaster's leading architect, C. Emlen Urban. A century later, Mr. Urban's architectural treasure is being re-imagined as The Trust Performing Arts Center - a stunning new venue for music, theater & dance, and community events in the heart of downtown Lancaster.

The Trust is a truly unique performing arts venue in our region. The combination of excellent, down-to-earth leadership, variety and quality of the performers and an unmatched resonating and other-worldly sound in the main hall make the Trust a regular destination for me and my family. But it's not just the music; the Trust Conversations never disappoint - I have been challenged, enlightened and encouraged by the guest speakers. There's nothing quite like The Trust.

The Trust is the best hidden gem downtown. Not only is the performance space one of the most acoustically rich venues in the region but it is visually breathtaking as well. The Trust's location, aesthetics, history, and it's world class performers truly make it one of the most important performing arts centers certainly in Lancaster County and perhaps in the entire North East.

I am very excited that the beautiful Trust building is again being used, and what use! The plays, and concerts I have attended have been wonderful! I love the intimate space for performance, the obviously historic building materials in the lower level and the large 'foyer' space for mingling on the ground floor. The TPAC is definitely a huge asset to Lancaster's arts community!
