Dr. Hunter is back to seeing his regular appointments Monday - Friday and will be seeing Saturday appointments on the first and third Saturdays of the month through August. There will still be staff available most Saturdays for technician appointments, and he will still be on call for emergencies. If you need a medication refilled, please either complete the request through our app or call the office.

Meet our veterinarian and owner! Dr. Josh Hunter has been practicing veterinary medicine for 20 years. Dr Hunter grew up in the Greenbrier Valley of WV and attended West Virginia University, graduating with a degree in Animal and Veterinary Science in 1996. He was a member of the Class of 1999 at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine.

What a great practice for our Bella. We needed a second opinion on a potential surgery that was recommended by our "former" vet practice. We were treated with respect and offered an alternative to surgery for our 10 year old Bella. A thorough explanation of her situation was provided upon diagnosis and we felt so comfortable with the recommended treatment program that did not include surgery. A great experience and now a new patient with Glades Pike Vets! It is more than worth the trip from Johnstown to have this special group care for our Bella.

Today was the first time that I took my puppy (Ophelia) to the vet. When I called to schedule her appointment, the lady I spoke to was so sweet. When we got there, everyone was so friendly to us. My puppy went straight to each person that spoke to her. The veterinarian was amazing! He was so good with Ophelia. I highly recommend Glades Pike Veterinary Hospital!!!

The wait time was minimal. The vet took the time to listen to my concerns and offer feedback and appropriate treatment. They scheduled my appointment based off of the convenience of my schedule and did not make me wait weeks to be seen. Everyone at the office was friendly and helpful.

The staff was friendly. My problem is that we had to take our dog back for a second surgery with the same issue & we were charged more for the second surgery than the first. I felt that we should have gotten some kind of price break because the problem wasn't taken care of the first time we had her there.

Glades Pike Veterinary Hospital is an incredible establishment! I am so thankful for Dr Hunter and his wonderful staff. My cat Dylan had a growth on his gums and broken tooth and Dr Hunter got him into surgery… very quickly whenever his primary vet couldn’t. He had his surgery yesterday and I’m feeling so blessed and thankful for the care he received. Today he’s playing and acting like his old self. Ashley who helped care for Dylan was so wonderful to him and also to our worried family. In the future I’m hoping Dr Hunter can be Dylan’s primary vet because I

Dr. Hunter and the staff are absolutely wonderful. They took so much time with us and our little Will to do all of the testing and imaging needed to give us a diagnosis and speedy treatment plan. Everyone was so kind, and kept us updated about what they were doing every step of the way. I can't say enough good things about them. Highly recommend.

First off, all of the staff and Dr. Hunter are top notch. They are friendly, kind, and don’t make you feel like a bother. If you want a vet and staff who will go out of their way to explain what is going on with your pet, then Glades Pike is for you. Dr. Hunter explained my cat’s eye issue and even drew pictures to help us better understand. He… genuinely cares about your pet and will help you make the best decision for them. They also were able to take us as new clients and see us the same day we called. If you are looking for a new vet, I highly recommend them.
