Lakeview is a mixed animal veterinary practice where expertise and compassion are the fundamentals by which our animal health services are based upon. Lakeview has been the standard for veterinary excellence within the Latrobe and Greensburg communities for over 50 years and continues to act as a premier veterinary clinic within western PA. We provide primary care services including both in-house small animal and ambulatory large animal health services.

Below is a list of forms we have available online. Click the form to download. Standard form for all patients undergoing both a surgical procedure and a dental procedure during the same time visit. Standard form for all patients undergoing all surgical procedures only (no dental) including soft tissue and orthopedic procedures.
Dr. Stas, or Dr. Andy to avoid confusion with the elder Dr. Stas. He has been with the practice since 2014 but has literally grown up at the clinic and is rumored to have spent many days sleeping in the dog kennels as a toddler. Dr. Stas received his veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania, class of 2013.
Dr. Fairman is the newest member of our Lakeview Animal Clinic team and she has quickly proven to be a valuable and outstanding asset to our veterinary family. Dr. Fairman is a 2016 Penn State graduate and earned her doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2020.

We were visiting from out of town for the holidays when our dog became sick. After trying several emergency vets and contacting local veterinary offices, Lakeview Animal Clinic did not turn us away. The office staff was very helpful and we were very pleased and thankful for the time they spent with our sick pup. We appreciated their willingness to squeeze us in, even though their schedule was full. We highly recommend Lakeview Animal Clinic, they truly care about your pet’s well-being. We can’t thank you enough!

I walked away from my experience with Lakeview Animal Clinic having very mixed emotions.
We called initially for a second opinion for our pet following surgical procedures she had done. They were understanding of our worry and saw our girl in a very timely manner. Scheduling was tricky for us and I feel they were more than accommodating with getting us seen promptly. When you are worried about your pet, being met with understanding and compassion in a timely manner, even when the circumstances might be inconvenient, is part of excellence of care and they were great in this regard.

I’ve never wrote a review before but this place is the worst customer service I’ve ever had. The older woman at the desk is the most miserable person in the world. I was trying to make an appointment for my cat that is 6 months overdue on shots and all I got was attitude in return. Find a new job if you’re going to be that cranky. I’m not the only person who thinks this

Not happy with this Vet at all the people that answer the phone are always rude.
I have called multiple time in the past and they put you on hold and then hang up.
This just happened again I called and she said please hold I was on hold for 10 mins then rang and hung up now I call back and get the after hours VM.
I see now that the people that work there dont care about the animals or they would have talked to me about my worry for my dog that has heart problems I see now this location and people working here are just in it for the money not the animals.

Dr. Stas has been great with my Daryl. He takes time to explain everything he’s doing, and when I took Daryl in to have a lump checked out( which thank goodness, turned out to be benign) he educated me on warning signs of dangerous lumps and bumps. Friendly staff as well! They are operating very smoothly, even during the COVID restrictions. Daryl and I have been very happy with Lakeview :)
