We had another company come out to look at our hot water heater after a flood. We figured the pilot light needed to be relit, but wanted to be sure. Guy came, took a quick glance, said nope and that it needed to be replaced because it was too old.
Called Fairland back to get another opinion. Two very nice men showed up, took a look, relit the pilot light and waited to be sure everything was okay. The made an appointment to an estimate the nest day and scheduled repair for the following day with completion with no delay. The technician were insightful and professional. I started using Fairland Plumbing & Heating about 15 years ago in an emergency situation. The water heater had started leaking and was threatening to flood the basement. It was a Sunday (of course), and as I phoned around to many plumbers, I was told over and over that I would have to wait 2 or 3 days for a service call.

Fairland has been servicing my elderly mother's house for many years. My mom tends to call them for anything that goes wrong with her house, even for services not listed. But they always come out without question and takes good care of her. Last visit they came to fix her furnace and returned the same day, late after hours, with a needed part to ensure she had heating for the night. That is personal service you can't complain about.
