The Perfect Workout began with one trainer, in one studio, delivering one remarkable workout. In 1999, our founder Matt Hedman opened the doors to our first personal training studio and pioneered a new approach to exercise and personal training. After spending hours in the gym daily, Matt believed there had to be a better way to exercise.

No music, no mirrors, no distractions. Our studios are designed to provide you with a safe, efficient personal training experience, and none of the unnecessary fluff. You'll learn about our signature science-backed method and get a chance to try it for yourself. Your trainer will evaluate your goals, skill level, and review your injuries or health concerns to create your personalized workout experience.
1-on-1 workout sessions conducted with a Certified Personal Trainer coaching you with customized, science-backed exercise methodology. My belly has gone down tremendously. And I feel like I have muscle now. I just feel more healthy. I'm definitely more active in general, just having the energy that I haven't had in a long time.
Muscle weighs more than fat, so when the scale tells us we've lost a few pounds, that can also mean that we've lost muscle mass. At The Perfect Workout, we focus on preserving and maintaining muscle to help you lose fat, not just body weight. Each exercise is performed by lifting weights for approximately 10 seconds, lowering the weight for another 10 seconds, and not resting between repetitions.

My trainers are knowledgeable, he listens to my needs n care about my well-being. Sam pays attention to my posture and always make sure my posture is correct so I don’t hurt myself. Sam explains very thoroughly so I understand what part of my body is being strengthened. I’m very happy with my trainer and the studio!

I've been going to the Perfect Workout for a couple of years. I have noticed my strength increase even though I'm 76. I can hit the golf ball further now because of going. If it wasn't for them, I'm sure I wouldn't have exercised. It's because it's only 20 minutes but so effective that I plan to continue.

I started with the Perfect workout in 2017. I love that it’s only 20 minutes and not only does it build strength but also endurance. I virtually trained during the close down to continue my fitness and was glad I did. I’m back in the studio now and COVID precautions are followed. I highly recommend.

I've been working with my trainer Angela now since last fall. Small studio, one on one highly effective training. I'm noticing the difference and I love that I get in and 20 minutes later I've had a great workout, no hours and hours spent on the gym.

I love this workout. I work a lot and do not have a lot of time to spend at the gym. The perfect Workout is the best 30 minutes twice A week. I felt stronger after the first week and was able to stop wearing my braces for the wrist. And the trainers at Anaheim Hills, are great. Emily and Sonja are my trainers and they work you out hard.
