While in dental school I had the opportunity to help form a non-profit dental humanitarian organization that allowed me to treat children all over the world. Services
Our office, as well as The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the American Dental Association (ADA), and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) all recommend establishing a "Dental Home" for your child by one year of age. Children who have a dental home are more likely to receive appropriate preventive and routine oral health care.
Each cleaning and exam visit starts with oral hygiene instruction. This includes showing patients and their parents areas that may be missed when they are brushing at home. Dental treatment is most effective if our patients understand the importance of properly caring for their teeth at home. We are proud to offer digital imaging for our patients instead of conventional x-rays.
We are proud to offer the LTM Precise Diode Laser in our office. Lasers in dentistry provide an amazing tool to help soft tissue dental procedures go more smoothly in a minimally invasive way. With the use of a dental laser the risk of infection, swelling, prolonged healing and scaring are all greatly reduced.

Dr Crutchfield and his staff are the only people I will allow near my child. I have absolute trust in their abilities. My 4 1/2 year-old was basically traumatized after multiple attempts and giving up at a different so-called “pediatric” dental office in Yuba City (they were NOT pediatric specialists and AWFUL.) Dr. Crutchfield knew we were on the fence and worried about general anesthesia but he did give it a couple tries without sedation before we had to resort to that. I was reassured and felt safe with the top notch anesthesiology group from the Bay Area that he brings in. I love that he

Dr. Crutchfield was my five year old son’s third dentist in a year and a half’s time. Just as soon as he got comfortable with those staff and dentists, they’d do something to cause discomfort and “retraumatize” him to the point that when he initially met with Dr. Crutchfield, he didn’t let any tools get near his mouth, not even the mirror. Due to… the situation, Dr. Crutchfield recommended general anesthesia. We were very hesitant but made the decision to move forward with it.
