I have never written a Google review, but I just learned how to be able to warn other customers about Smooth Appliance. Please choose another repair service.
Their business practices are frustrating for the customer. We have a simple repair (for those who do their own work at home). The part costs $68 on amazon. We scheduled an appointment; waited the next day for the confirmation call, and then had the repairmen do his diagnosis.
The repairman arrived and asked my partner to pay in full, even though he was not going to do the repair then, but rather diagnose. (Apparently they are a small business

These guys quickly and inexpensively fixed my three-year-old LG oven when it started displaying temperature swings just two weeks before Christmas. They not only ordered the correct replacement part, but installed it within 24 hours of its arrival at a very competitive price. I'll go back to them the next time an appliance needs service.

My wife ask me to find repair service for our oven before Thanksgiving, repair man said that needs to replace heat element and he'll come back on the next day, today he's came back and repaired our oven. My wife was so excited that baked a lot of cookies. To be honest, I had doubt about their diagnostic, my guess was that problem was with control board and their fox has misdiagnosed, but after technician came back and sacsesfuly fixed oven all my concerns has gone. My friend recommended this company for my Fisher & Paykel dryer repair. They only one repair service that working with Fisher & Paykel in Portland they really know this appliances. I got all appliances Fisher & Paykel in my home dishwasher, refrigerator, washer and dryer I was disappointed when was happened first problem, I just can't find anyone who working with this brand. We're just moved in new house, after one week our refrigerator begin making loud sound and leaking on a bottom, I decided to defrost and clean refrigerator, unfortunately after one week it's begin making sound again and in this time the fridge stops cooling. I called to Smooth Appliance for help, they were available to come in a same day, technician Steve explained that there problem with defrost system and repaired it. Now refrigerator properly cooling and doesn't making sound so I finally can sleep in a silence. Thank you Steve, thank you Smooth Appliance!

I have used Southeast Roofing twice now and have been extremely happy with their work. The first time was to find a leak on our tiled roof. Wayne was on time, methodical and found the issue quickly which turned out to be a tile securing clip incorrectly fitted creating an opening in the Sarking.

Thank you Sean, your support was remarkable, technician arrived on time and quickly repaired my oven, I have looked repair service for my buildin double oven a months, no one appliance repaire service in Portland wanted to even come to see it. TIL - don't call an appliance repair service if you suspect a small gas leak in an oven. These guys charged me $90 to look over my oven, tell me nothing was wrong with it and there was no leak. I then called NW Natural, who came out and found that the gas hose connected to the oven was missing sealant, and there was in fact a leak. The NW Natural tech fixed this free of charge.

My wife called these guys right before Thanksgiving. We had used the self-clean function, and as sometimes happens after you use that function, the oven had to be "reset" to resume normal operation. We were told a $69 trip charge. We agreed.
The tech, Sam, showed up and saw that he needed to reset the thermostat and said he could do it for $272.19! Since there were no parts involved, the 19 cents is particularly ridiculous. W/a 14 pound Thanksgiving in the fridge my wife agreed to the shakedown.

Our fridge stopped working overnight and we woke up to a puddle in the kitchen. So I made the rounds on Yelp calling as many places as I could, but only Smooth Appliance was able to come the same day.
Not only did they come quickly, but they also had the part in the truck and fixed the problem in a matter of minutes for a very reasonable cost.
Max was our repairman and he was courteous and friendly. He advised us to remove everything out of the freezer and clean it, otherwise, ice blocks would form.

day. First service day about 3 weeks ago, I had a refrigerator tech come to my house. I told the tech that I had a leak in the tubing on the back of the fridge. Previously I cut out the leaking tubing and used a connector to try and fix the leaking tubes. I said at the beginning that I wanted new tubes because I saw more slits in the tubing. The tech showed up on time, he went about with his evaluation and repair I paid the ticket. The charges were $147.00 for his labor and parts. He pushed the fridge back in place. I

I like this business, I did see the tech who came by many years ago from my insurance company, he was very fast, accurate and professional. He fixed my fridge, and I've been trying to find him for my other appliances, but he quitted the insurance company, I found him and he has own business. Now, I'll keep his number! Thanks Max.
