Services
The feet are soak into a bath of dead sea salt to soften and hydrated the deepest layer of dry skin. A Perfecting Masque is applied to penetrate the deeper dermal layers and loosen dead skin cells. A nature sugar rub then away dry skin. A lower leg massage with oil is then performed to relax and soothe leg muscles while toning and hydrating the skin.
I had planned to visit another place but ended up parking in this part of Arlington and decided to look for a manicure location near by. I ended up in the Market Common looking for Acqua Nails after checking some Yelp reviews. Getting to this place is a little strange and involved a set of stairs that are not completely visible.

I felt like it was a borderline of entrapment. I just broke one nail and they charged me $5.00. But I don't carry cash. Then they said that they can only charge a card to $10.00 or more. THET SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME THIS EARLIER before we continued after I sat down and ask them for the cost of my one nail to get fix.
Also, I broke a nail in half and it hurts, but the nail tech continued to try to take my nails off and after i told her3 times not to do so. They cant understand no, and they talked about me before they realized I know how to speak Vietnamese. Shaking my head for even trusting these folks

I scheduled SNS manicure and Gail pedicure. I was surprised at the end when I was told that the gail pedi is $55 - the same price as the sns manicure which made absolutely no sense to me. It ffeltvery unfair. I am not particularly happy with the quality as well - my nails were not shaped very well and I was left for too long with the polish remover so most of my nails broke (only one of my nails was broken prior). I saw that the pedi is $35 on the website and I do want to be charged correctly not ripped off.

This was atrocious. I was charged $35 for a glorified foot massage. I didn’t even get my nails painted. The lady took half an hour to start even though the salon was close to empty. Not to mention one of the workers started giving herself a foot massage next to me!! Totally unprofessional. Wouldn’t come here if it was the last nail salon on earth.

Do not waste your time or money. Came in for dip powder, showed a picture of what I wanted. It was not hard at all. No design just different colors on each nail. Amy gave me attitude because she couldn’t find the matching colors and blamed my picture. I ended up settling on one color that I didn’t even really want because it was taking way too long. When working on my nails it was not a relaxing experience at all. Amy’s nails were stabbing my fingers the whole time and I even told her once. Been wanting to try this place but don’t live in the area to justify going out of my way for it. I was in the area today and decided to try them since had an important work assignment coming up, so this was a bigger deal than usual to have my nails how I wanted them. I showed them a pic of what I wanted (which wasn’t difficult at all), but they did what they wanted instead and not what I asked for. Anytime I spoke up, the lady shut me down and brushed me off pretty dismissively. She did not do the shape I wanted, and also did not fix a nail I asked for her to fix. Honestly it ruined my day

Had a just okay experience here today.
Main issue was that unprompted my technician asked/told me to get my eyebrows waxed too. I jokingly asked her if that meant they looked bad and she said, “Yes, too long. Not good.” I appreciate a good upsell attempt but ha, sad. Rubbed me the wrong way.
Would return due to convenience and nails look good, but not my top choice.

I have come here 5+ times because it is right behind my house and extremely convenient. However, I have finally decided to stop giving them my time and money. They almost ALWAYS over charge me until I asked them to explain the charge and then they say "oh, oh, sorry!" when their math is off. The last manicure I had I just went in for a gel removal and nail buff. The woman was clearly mad when I did not say yes to getting another gel manicure. She did not hide it at all and gave me the WORST treatment. I had to ask her multiple times to smooth out spots that still had gel. I regret that I tipped

I had looked up reviews before going here and was hesitant, but a friend already had reservations and just went along thinking it couldn't be THAT bad. This place is actually so bad- save your money and go ANYWHERE else.
I went with a couple friends after they opened post pandemic and we had all scheduled appointments online for pedicures. We all got different services and I got a basic pedicure with polish. My tech basically shamed me and asked me why I wasn't getting an upgraded service likes my friends.
The appointment was supposed to last 30 minutes, but only lasted about 20.

Two friends and I made appointments online on their website for 3 acrylic fill ins two days beforehand. We even followed up with a call to confirm. Upon arrival, the two ladies in there said they don't take online appts and that they were about to close. Very disappointing considering the fact that we drove 45 min to make it to our 6pm appt on time ..

I gave it one star only so I could write a review. I wanted my nails done for my birthday however my regular salon is not open at the moment. I made an appointment with AMY for a full set acrylic at 4:15, I was 10 minutes late, (4:25) when I walked in, AMY said I was 30 minutes late and started to talk to her coworker. After that she finally talked to me and said she had another appointment come she wouldn't be able to take me, i explained to her the nest appointment spot after me was taken by my friend who was also with me.

The negative reviews of this salon always kept me away, but it's located right across from my apartment so I thought what the heck! I'll give it a try.
I will not be returning. I walked in for a classic pedicure and gel manicure. The service was meh. My nail tech did offer a beverage but after that only spoke to me when necessary. Her tone wasn't very friendly. She was almost acting like I was inconveniencing her. The pedicure was so fast I barely had time to get comfy in the chair! At least I haven't noticed any chips in my polish yet (it's been a week).

And beware... these ladies *will* speak about you if they think you don't understand Vietnamese. Too bad I do, because I understood them when I declined the exorbitantly expensive gel upgrade and they said "why bother asking, she doesn't have any money" in Vietnamese.
Otherwise it's a big spa with all the options (polish, gel, powder, etc.). Just get ready to pay up and get talked about.

The techs spent the ENTIRE time laughing talking loudly in their native language. It was LOUD and very difficult to relax. For less than 30 minutes I got what they called a $50.00 spa pedicure, and what I call the worse basic pedicure I've ever received. Because the tech was so focused on her conversation with the tech sitting next to her, my cuticles were barely cleaned and my 'extra massage' was done with one hand. Paint job was ATROCIOUS. I'd give a zero star if I could but give one star since they charged me $33.00 for both me and my daughter since I was unhappy. Never

Although they try hard and were very nice, I can not recommend a place that can’t do my nails better than I can. They rushed my manicure which was over in less than 15 minutes; pedicure filing was uneven and I had to point it out several times; manicure polish chipped within a day in several places, not just the tips, and when I went back to show them, they wanted to charge me $10 to change the polish. I walked out and told them I’d polish my nails at home! I’ve been to Bliss Spa 3 blocks away several times and it’s way better. For a place that has so much competition in an upscale neighborhood

Came in for a regular mani and pedi services. The lady didn't even do all of my cuticles on my hands. I wanted to get clear polish (the polish quality is bad btw). I asked her to cover my tors twice and she refused, very rude and jealous of customer. Never had such a bad experience getting my nails done for a price of 50$ which is very high! Good luck keeping returning customers.

This was absolutely one of the worst gel manicures and regular pedicures I have ever gotten. I just moved to the neighborhood, and while Acqua seemed a little pricey, when I walked it, the location seemed so nice and comfortable that I thought it would be worth the extra cost than what I was used to. And I was COMPLETELY wrong.

Five stars for Amy and Jackie. Would recommend these two highly. They are meticulous and caring. They work fast and clean. Good selection of colors and availability of technics. My pedicures typically last over 1 month and nails over 2 weeks. Highly recommend an appointment but Amy has frequently stayed after hours for me!

I could only give them 5star for interior and how clean it is. Their English is very bad. I was the last customer for the lady who did my nails before she gets off and I feel she was very in rush. I asked for SNS technique, after applying only 2 layers she asked me if I want third, I thought she would know better if it's needed. My friend next to me got the same service but her SNS powder was applied 3 times without any question. So I ended up with two layers cause I believed she knew her job better than I did. Exactly 1 week later SNS started peeling off as you can see on the photo. From
