The woman at the front desk (sadly I didn't get her name) was so kind and helpful. Aziza (I apologize if I'm getting/spelling her name wrong) was so kind, respectful and fast! She worked very quickly and kept conversation with me which was nice. It was my first professional wax and I definitely plan on going back.

I chose this location based on the positive reviews and chose my esthetician based on the reviews that she received as well. However, my experience was nothing like the others. I came in for a brazilian and an eyebrow shaping (it had been a year since my last eyebrow wax). The establishment itself is nice inside and welcoming. Parking is on the street but I dodnt have a problem finding one nearby. It isn't handicapped accessible. You do have to go up a flight of stairs to reach them. Pricing is comparable to surrounding spas and first time customers get a 20% discount.

Ashley is an eyebrow guru!!! I won't go anywhere else to get my eyebrows tinted and waxed. I have thin light brows despite my medium brown hair so if I want to look like I have brows, I need to pencil them in. However, Ashley makes them look full with great shape where I don't need to do anything for weeks after seeing her.

My experience at Bare Skin was great! Jasmine was so nice and kinda distracted me from the pain just talking about random stuff. The whole process from start to finish was maybe 15 minutes. She was sweet, encouraging and THOROUGH!! I mean, she don’t play and I truly appreciate it! I found my new wax spot! Already scheduled my next appointment!

Oh my gosh... I cannot say enough great things about this place. I absolutely adore it here. I'm sure every esthetician is great but AZIZA oh my word. She knew exactly what I wanted without even telling her. She's incredible and super sweet. Today, I got an eyebrow wax and tint and paid $40. Plus they are having 20% for new clients! That's how I discovered this place. I'm so happy I've finally found my eyebrow place best hidden gem in Alexandria!

This is my first time back here in about 18 months. Since my last visit my normal aesthetician Juliana departed :-(. I went ahead and booked with someone else anyway. I arrived a few minutes before my appointment and the girl at the desk said that the tech was still with a client and that she'd be with me momentarily. I've been here twice now and I won't be returning. My first time, the esthetician missed a few places and the final job was super patchy, but she was super sweet and the experience at the salon was pretty nice! The second time the final product was totally bareX but the esthetician didn't use any calming products or gestures (didn't use any aloe, lotion, or put her hand over spots post-wax like most do in my experience). This led to a super painful experience, but now the area is still red and bumpy, which would normally be gone for me in a matter of hours. For $60 plus tip

Had my appointment with Ashley. She was awesome! She was finished quicker than anticipated, and made me feel comfortable through the whole process! I got a whole set done! (Probably tmi but) I got my legs, Brazilian, and under arms done. She explained everything every step of the way. Can't wait to come back for my next appointment with her!

I tried to book online and was unable to book. It stated walkins are welcome 11 times on the website. I called no answer. I just walked in and the person at the front literally looked like I was a major inconvenience. The website reflected that it had 11:15-11:20 appointment available. I showed up at 11:15. She wasn't wearing a mask. I said the website said you had now available, she said because of COVID some of our services are not walk-in. I've been going here for years and never had a bad experience. I usually book with "any staff available" because everyone at Bare Skin is so professional and good at their job! I had my first wax here and any time I've gone somewhere else I've been disappointed!
In particular I just had an appointment with Aziza. A full, thorough Brazilian in 12 minutes and hardly any pain while she was super friendly and kind. Cannot recommend enough.

Came herewith a girlfriend without an appointment. The door was locked at first and we tried calling but no one answered. After waiting at the door for a bit, someone came up the stairs to let us in. Apparently one was on a lunch break and the other had to move her car real quick. Understandable, parking isn't free in the area.
