Services
Ash Ridge Cabins is located on 18 beautiful acres, largely wooded, in western Hocking County, near the town of Laurelville. The views are breathtaking in practically every direction. The changing of the leaves in fall, the white of winter snow, and the vibrant greens of spring and summer will all help you forget the concrete jungle for a few days and just relax in the peace and quiet of the country.
In the Hocking Hills you will find many natural wonders, particularly beautiful waterfalls and unique caves. Hocking County is home to 9 different state parks, and there are many other local attractions as well. There is also the Wayne National Forest and the Tar Hollow State Forest/Park, which together make up many thousands of acres of land open to the public for outdoor recreation.
Please Note: We do not recommend using an Internet-based "road map service" i.e. Mapquest, Google Maps, Yahoo Maps for directions to our cabins using just our street address. None of them currently give 100% correct directions and may get you lost. Coordinates are: 39.491944, -82.691379. If you use our street address in your GPS or Google Maps, it may route you correctly, but sometimes it does not.
How Private are Your Cabins? Our cabins are very private & secluded. In fact, many of our guests specifically comment on how private and secluded our cabins are. We situated our cabins with two criteria in mind - view, and privacy, and we feel that we accomplished both with flying colors.

Our 3 log cabins are situated on a heavily wooded ridge, and each cabin is anywhere from 300-500 feet away from the next cabin, through the woods, over the hill, etc.The view from both the front and back porch of our cabins is splendid, and the privacy will have you thinking you're the only ones on our ridge.

A great experience. Cabin was clean and well organized and secluded. If you want privacy you have come to the right place. My wife and I stayed in the Maple Lane. Friends of ours stayed in Sweet Heart. We had plenty of privacy but still could easily get together around the fire for drinks and conversation and safely walk "Home".

We come here every year for our anniversary. Except last year because of covid. Every OTHER year we've been happy. This year was bad. The hot tub was beyond gross. It had dark colored film along the sides with ALOT of floaties and stuff at the bottom.. My favorite thing about vacation is the hot tub and I couldn't use it. There was a sign say "here your complimentary gift bag" there was a cup with no gift bag in it. There was hair in the shower. The front porch was over run with spiders.. Big ones.. And I'm fine with bugs. It's such a shame because we love love loved coming here!! Now we don't

We rented the SweetHeart cabin for a quick weekend away. It was absolutely lovely and very comfortable. The new indoor game/ hot tub room was a great way to relax with a fantastic view.

The reservation and the check in were easy. We stayed in the Maple Lane cabin, which was set for two people. The price was reasonable for what you were getting. The cabin was very clean and warm. The interior is all white pine and red pine, very beautiful. You could tell that the owners thought a lot about what would make their guests have an enjoyable time, little things like a Weber charcoal grill instead of a cheap off brand, a bird feeder one foot away from one of the big windows so we could eat our breakfast while watching the birds eat their breakfast, and some home made cinnamon rolls for

My husband and I went for a one night getaway and will definitely be back to stay longer. The cozy cabin feeling and the great view was absolutely perfect. The new game room/jacuzzi room is a great addition. The cabin smelled amazing as soon as we came in and the cleanliness of that place was great.

We really enjoyed our stay and the decor and music playing were very welcoming. We stayed in Lover's Loft. The cabin was clean and smelled great. We loved the rustic charm. The game room and hot tub were a great addition and our two teens really enjoyed it. Only negatives that I can think of is the overpriced firewood and we were charged extra for bringing our two teens. Definitely overpriced but would probably return someday.

We've been coming here annually for 5 years. Josh & Julie and their kids are so accommodating and sweet. We always feel so welcome here. It feels homier here than our actual home. The view out our cabin is breathtaking. My husband actually proposed on the back deck of the cabin in 2018. We're now back again, married, and soaking in this beautiful, cozy experience as much as we can before we have to leave. Definitely recommend!

My husband and I just stayed here for our anniversary . The cabin was IMMACULATE ! We walked into to smelling great, with a candle lit and soft music playing. Not a detail was missed for a great stay. We enjoyed he gorgeous views off the back deck in the mornings while sitting in the hot tub with our coffee. The bed was comfy , the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. I would absolutely come back, we really enjoyed ourselves.

My mother and I went here for 2 nights and 3 days in the cuddle bug cabin. These cabins are more for a romantic getaway but they are very good priced and a lot were booked at the time. But very clean and well taken care of. They thought of everything! They had a hot tub, air hockey, board games, fire pit, corn toss and horseshoe. It was a beautiful place. Great for small families or couples. They made you feel at home! Great place, will probably be coming back!

We too have visited Ash Ridge cabins multiple times but will not go back. We have experienced exactly what other guests have experienced. if we return we will pay additional fees for clean up. we spent over 2 hours making the cabin look the way it did prior to our arrival and we paid over 150/ night.. Saddened at the way they do business as their cabins are nice. There are many other wonderful cabins and business owners that will now have our business. The way they run their business will eventually catch up to them. Please don't be fooled by them as we were. I also find it interesting how
